so long but still if she were to leave rapture you would die. and if her heart stops the bond is broken and your body slowly begans to collapse on itself. so the little sisters are essential not only to the gameplay and plasmids but also very important to the story of the game. without them bioshock would be boring and terrible

Not sure if it has been explained already, but what actually extracts the ADAM (Kool-Aid) is a sea slug. As a host, a Little Sister is used. Since the Splicers would be drawn to the Little Sisters as they were harvesting ADAM, a character named Suchong invented Big Daddies to protect the Sisters. This is just the way I've understood it.

well "the little girls" are called little sisters and they think your her dad and the big sister who is your actual sister will get jealous and they will try to stop you....you get little sisters to collect things called adams and what they do is they let you buy really cool stuff for your guns.

The big daddies was created becuz after a while when adam had been introduced it became like a drug. Splicers needed more and started to kidnap little sisters, some chineas doctor started bonding men to sisters. You and the Elenor girl was the first 2 be bonded
