Can't say as I care for the "Type 2's" full length shroud. I prefer my Type 1 where I can SBR it to it's full length. (Come on tax stamp...) And send that barrel to ADCO to be turned down to proper Sterling length, and threaded for a can.

I have to admit though, the long sight radius probably makes that thing a joy to shoot at medium to longer ranges.

This is an excellent civillian version of a classic SMG. Some models I have seen have a naked barrel that stuck out beyond the handguard and looked awful. By comparison, apart from the longer barrel your rifle looks identical to the Sterling SMG I lugged round Germany in the 1980's - stuck to occasionally (due to the extreme cold in winter) and which was my companion for many years, before being replaced by the SLR (UK variant of the FN .7.62). Very reliable and surprisingly accurate. Nice!!
