this is going to make air travel almost not worth it. i have a trip im taking to italy next year, and im going to have to deal with all this security crap, but im also freaked out about it. i dont know about any of you, but flying scares the hell out of me. they do all this security stuff for planes, how many terrorists do they catch? how many terrorist attacks do we get?

The biggest issue here is that the man's father had contacted the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria earlier this year, telling them his son was a threat. And what did those U.S. officials do? Nothing. They didn't even red-flag the guy's name in a security database. They didn't tell anyone. I mean, come on, the father reported his own son. I would imagine SOMEONE would take that seriously. I personally don't judge blacks or anyone else. I'm of Asian descent, so I know about being targeted due to my race.
