  • this is beautifully done. Very, very good focus and I know how much work this is! It's not easy and to see this tight heel pattern means you're a terrific trainer. I'm in NJ, do you train in the NYC metro area?

  • Very nice! Only one small suggestion, sometimes you are rewarding her from a different position from where you are asking her to focus...might confuse her a bit. I love the glued-to-leg position you've accomplished. Great work!

  • @mstrhck - Thanks. The reward from a position other than the focal point is on purpose, I teach the dogs to focus on my face, and not the reward. Unless you meant I was marking here when she wasn't looking at me, in which case "bad handler, bad" :-) There is an article on my website called Focus for Heeling which explains how I start my heeling. For some reason I can't put a direct link to it here.

  • beautiful concentration, as i dont know much about schutzhund is the heel ment to be extremly tight in ? looks beautiful well done

  • Wow Kadi ! very nice , Nexxus has learned in 9 sessions what Poe learned in 2 years ! Granted allot had to do with my lack of exp . Will be anxious to see her in the schutzhund world .
