  • I'm from another planet and this song is what I feel like.

  • I remember taping this song off the radio in Los Angeles KLOS. still ranks up there as one of those songs you heard, like maybe, five times, and only that year. Like Art in america's Art in America. Still have the tape where at the end Bob Coburn says "...Strange Advance, and Worlds Away..."

  • Absolut Wunderschöners Lied Da denkt man an die guten alten Aladin Zeiten

    zurück.

  • I just had the urge to listen to Strange Advance today.....pulled the album out and started playing it on my old turntable....it has been at least 20 years since I listened to this band......what was I thinking by not listening to them........I miss those early years

  • I love reading all the responses, i realize now I was not alone back in the day listening to this band, always sounded like a science fiction soundtrack to me

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh !..."Strange Advance" ► You fill up my teenage peridods with such great songs and all the moods that goes with it !... Thank you for all those good vibes !... Thumbs up !

  • Oh and the vid is great! hahahahhahah Much love! Candice xx

  • Listened to this song a million times since yesterday. it's just so poignant and plain lovely. Bittersweet masterpiece. Thank u so much for posting. XX

  • Proudly British Columbian, this song just popped into mu head tonite, fits my life right now. Baby, your so far away, might as well be another planet......x

  • such a beautiful song

  • I'm just an old guy, but these guys still rock (subtly but with impact). Thank God for Bob Rock and that bunch for making BC the place to be for music.

  • i still have the cd my Best bud and i crank this in his shop :P

  • love the song--takes me back 25 years.

  • Canada had so many kick ass bands in the '80s. Bands that were making waves around the world. But, the Conservatwits nearly killed off our music industry in the late '80s and early '90s. We still have good musicians, but it's so hard for them to compete against American bands and their cheap CDs at WalWart

  • I played this song over and over on the way to the cemetary after Teddys funeral. He was a sweet soul, now a angel that we hope to see again someday. Bosse Bulldog 1983

  • whats cool for me about this song is that, i heard it only two or three times. i still have the casette tapes that i taped a coupla playings on it from the radio with an announcer at the end of one, so cool. it's better i think when a one hit wonder band is obscure in your memory, and later, you find out that it was really a very special song that a lot of people thought the same way

  • Great song...one of my all-time faves from the 80s...perhaps the best times of my life. Certainly the most life-changing times.
