I grew up with Tom, Liz and Louise, but as an adult fan, going back to rewatch the whole lot, Pat, Wendy and Frazier are probably my favourite "team" the show ever had, and Zoe is definitely my very fave companion now! Super smart, very cute and could take care of business "Emma Peel style" when she had to! :P

No doubt the actors back then were better back then but the sets the BBC used were very cheap and the monsters as bad as the crappy junk the Japs cranked out in the 1960's. But, it was charming because it was junk. Today's sci/fi is pure garbage for the most part.

I was maybe a little harsh on it... in fairness, there is good old and good new SF. I'm just addicted to the crappy sets and rubber monsters so I'm not a good judge of quality. I think people judge old episodes too much on special effects and slow pacing and I don't like it being insulted for that alone. I do laugh at old SF though, that's part of the fun.

Some of the crappy films like "Plan 9 From 0uterspace" & "The Creeping Terror" are so poorly done they're funny. So, even the junk has merit. Jon Petwee was my fav Doctor, yet back then the BBC was cranking out pure garbage.

She was asked to stay on when Pat Troughton left, but said she couldn't see herself appearing with the extremely tall Jon Pertwee, as she was so short they'd never get her in shot.

I don't like the song, mainly b/c I have a thing about Japanese music. BUT the footage is great and well edited. I've said this in other posts, but it's really sad how she and Jamie are robbed of their memories and thereby their identities, while Troughton's robbed of his face.
