I wish people would stop complaining about how music has gone down hill or gotten worse over the years. In reality, it hasn't gotten worse, it's only changed with time. I love all types of music. All genres and artists. They are all different in there own way and that's what is so great about music. You never hear the same thing twice. Yes, some things sound similar but never twice. i love how all these people in high school say all the music sucks today when they are only listing rap. what happened to rock now? or metal? or any other type of music that hasn't even been given a chance. Music is an art and its meaning is whatever you take from it that is how an artist intends it to be. I do agree with the fact rap is not that great but rock and metal now still has meaning but the meaning is for you to find. Still love this song which is why i have learned to play it.

I haven't listened to this song since my mothers funeral 5 years ago it was played there as we buried her this song only brought me pain we were so close but now it brings me joy she lived a good long life adventured and saw many things all the laughs we shared it was her time and I'm okay I can continue my life because of this song and it has only made me stronger mentally.

I'm only fifteen, and I think that Pink Floyd is one of the greatest bands there ever was. People don't really know how to appreciate real music anymore it seems like. Now a days, it's all about rapping and stuff. It gets pretty old, but I always know that I can come back and listen to the great bands like Pink Floyd. It really makes me wish I could've been in high school in the 70's rather than 2011.

I have just recently lost someone as well. It my not sound like much to other people, but I lost my dog.
