  • wow

  • When i put this video on i just close my eyes and let my ego grow.

  • "oh my god its amazing" "is that a shark??" lol.. haha

  • You know what's funny?, the Basking shark is like the old version of the megoladon, such as, the Basking shark forgets to put his teeth in, yet, the megoladon is young and has his..own..te- well you get the point, right?

  • That was a basking shark it doesn't eat meat with a few exceptions but they are very small fish and it mainly eats krill

  • I know about sharks quite a bit and fully understand that this basking shakr is 100% harmless despite its huge size

Imagine the fear that some people who dont know sharls expierience when they see this mega shark

  • Woaaaah

  • the lady in the beginning saying "oh my god" sounds like the SNL skit!

From Kristen Wig's suprise party! That's hilarious!

  • @jesaro07 Yeah that was about all i noticed in the video, the silly american "oh my gaawd". xD

  • listening to the dialogue, it really shows how boring our lives are a city dwellers :(

  • Definitely a Basking shark. By the look of all the white area on it's back it looks like it might be injured.

  • that is such an amazing shark to see. I have a place up near Boothbay Harbor. It would be awesome to see one. Those ladies get very annoying though!

  • @GamerKing112 don't all women lol

  • What a beautiful shark!!

  • damn!

  • When the video finally comes into focus around 0:33, you can notice the pointed nose.... which definitely is a characteristic of a Basking Shark !!

  • uh, thats definitely not a whale.

    1) Tail fin was vertical (fish), not horizontal (mammal: whales and dolphins)

2)moving like a shark (side to side)

3)its overall body shape is that of a shark, NOT a whale

i'd say its a basking shark, fits the size. and it definitely freaks you out a little when you see one, as you can't immediately identify it as harmless (basking sharks are harmless)

  • Err Thats No Shark That Was A Whale Because It WAs Blowing Out Water From Its Backk

  • Im pretty sure I see him moving his tail side-to-side.

  • why are you doing the first letter in every word BIG

  • What kind of whales have you seen?

  • damn boat propellers, manatees suffer the same fate...

  • @NightTimeRightTime and so doesn't the whale shark the biggest shark that still exists yet but very rare

  • wow, thats a big boy! looks like some heavy battle damage on its back
