Well tundras and titans are making the USA pick ups make longer lasting trucks but why couldnt the US deliver good lasting trucks a decade and more ago???Tundras dual over head cams are awsome better than push rods or single cam.

compaired to toyota the older american trucks are better and longer lasting. they have always been better. there are loads of old american trucks still running around. as for the engines. a pushrod engine may not be as powerful or refined as a over head cam engine but they are more reliable and require less maintenance. engines aside, it is well known that toyotas rust out well before their maincomponents go bad. what use is that? id rather rebuild the engine than throw away the whole truck

The interviewer asked the engineer what kind of injuries one would sustain. He said "catastrophic." That means "very terrible", chivyfan999.
