  • Thanks for sharing my friend. I love it.

  • WOW! I love it

  • ou we ti dans misye ap bay laa, se sel nou ki danse konsa! men yon moun poko janm ka konprann sans yon chan pou Ayiti tout otan w poko kite peyi a!!

  • I used to see him passing in front of my house in Cap-Haitien, i am very proud of that song.

  • MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM THATS MY MUSIC

  • haiti ma home town

  • mes amis mouin revive

  • good song, good lyrics and I like the bass track also

  • this is a good haitian song, I remember it, it's great

I think he is still alive

  • Well, the winner of the contest won a trip to the U.S,American Airlines was one of the sponsors and gave away the trip. I was so young, don't remember anything pass that. He could've come by more but my memory has faded. But he was really talented. Was skillfull with the guitar and song soft songs like this one. Very Nice guy he was, no joke.

  • Man, Sidon Joseph, my dude, Lol, believe it or not yalls, I swear to you, this dude was a friend of the family, use to come over my house with his guitar and sing some of his songs....he sang that song for us before anyone I think, and said he was going to the contest.

We watched him on TV and when he won it, we were so happy for him. Those times were so beautifull back then...

  • what happen to him?

  • What year 85-89 please let me know Merci

  • I left Haiti in 87 so it was probably around the 84-86

  • What happened to him? is he still alive?

  • AYITI CHERI MWEN RENMEN W ANPIL....thank God i was born in that country!!!!!

  • I agree with u enide12 it is all about taking responsibility for ourselves and to stop pointing fingers and love one another mete tete nou ansamb and that's when we can change our little Haiti around for the best.

  • TizoDous, u cant hide who u are. its a shame,and sad.

  • ce poum fout pale tonnerre nou fout detwi bel ayiti cheri,fe'm mwen ap viv loin de peyi'm..cochon tankou nou ki lakoz...ayisien se chen!...si'm prezidan map montre nou mwen ak Francois Duvalier ki yes ki pi mechan.

  • this is exactly the type of attitude we have towards each other, that makes Haiti the way it is. we refuse to take responsibility ,yet you come up in here calling your own people names. we as a new generation we should think /view differently about our fellow haitians and country . take a chill pill "sweet bone."

  • btw I was talking to "TizoDous"

  • Kotew ye ou met rete. Nou pa besoin vagabon tankouw pou vin change Haiti. Espece d'imbecile!!!!

  • Does anyone know where I can buy the songs from those two contests?

  • I don't need those nasty words on my page. Please keep them only for you...Your screen name does not match you also (you're "sour" instead of "sweet".

  • @VETOU55 about you delete those comments...really, it's a shame to see how some haitians can be so negative!!! Thank You for such a great video!!!

  • Monche mwen santi saw genyen-an, se fe led anpil pou nou we sa peyi nou tounen... Men pigaw bay santiman-w you ton konsa,,,, moun ap panse ou pa renmen haiti anko. Nou pa chen, ayisyen ap pase you tray kounye-a, se nou tout pou met men ansanm pou remoute peyi-a.

  • Salut, Labeautecreole what is the title of Sidon's latest album? He is one of my favorite artist. I fell in love once again with this song once i ran into it on here. The 80's was a magnificent epoch in Haitian music, the art the soul and the love for culture and Haiti, human rights ect... As i sing along to all these songs they remind me of my childhood in Haiti.

  • Actually I mean the only one he had. It is Tonton Sam

  • Salut, Labeautecreole what is the title of his latest album? He is one of my favorite artist. I fell in love all over again with this song once a ran across it. • Sidon does not have aids and never did, he is a good friend of the family. He is just not singing maybe for lack of appreciation of his talent( my personal opinion) and he is well alive and enjoying life if you ever heard his latest album that is so profound I fall asleep with that CD all the songs are great.

  • Sidon Joseph is boston now...he worked in a mac donald's part time and full time in a factory..He left Haiti because the words he was singing nobody couldn't understand them to put them to work...Asisien ce chen.
