Limye gen pou yo limen, men se avek inyon selman ke nou ka fe sa. We have blue kevlars killing us like wild animals because our own leaders admitted that they are unable to govern, everyday they keep failing our children. We as a people need to put our differences aside and work together and save our homeland.
Well, the winner of the contest won a trip to the U.S,American Airlines was one of the sponsors and gave away the trip. I was so young, don't remember anything pass that. He could've come by more but my memory has faded. But he was really talented. Was skillfull with the guitar and song soft songs like this one. Very Nice guy he was, no joke.
Man, Sidon Joseph, my dude, Lol, believe it or not yalls, I swear to you, this dude was a friend of the family, use to come over my house with his guitar and sing some of his songs....he sang that song for us before anyone I think, and said he was going to the contest.
We watched him on TV and when he won it, we were so happy for him. Those times were so beautifull back then...
I agree with u enide12 it is all about taking responsibility for ourselves and to stop pointing fingers and love one another mete tete nou ansamb and that's when we can change our little Haiti around for the best.

this is exactly the type of attitude we have towards each other, that makes Haiti the way it is. we refuse to take responsibility ,yet you come up in here calling your own people names. we as a new generation we should think /view differently about our fellow haitians and country . take a chill pill "sweet bone."
I don't need those nasty words on my page. Please keep them only for you...Your screen name does not match you also (you're "sour" instead of "sweet".

Salut, Labeautecreole what is the title of Sidon's latest album? He is one of my favorite artist. I fell in love once again with this song once i ran into it on here. The 80's was a magnificent epoch in Haitian music, the art the soul and the love for culture and Haiti, human rights ect... As i sing along to all these songs they remind me of my childhood in Haiti.

Sidon does not have aids and never did, he is a good friend of the family. He is just not singing maybe for lack of appreciation of his talent( my personal opinion) and he is well alive and enjoying life if you ever heard his latest album that is so profound I fall asleep with that CD all the songs are great.
Sidon Joseph is boston now...he worked in a mac donald's part time and full time in a factory..He left Haiti because the words he was singing nobody couldn't understand them to put them to work...Asisien ce chen.

Stop those stupid AIDS rumor. I was talking to him two days ago! He's alive and well! just doing other things in the studio instead of singing, which I always tell him that he should get back to.
