I was born in Missoula! Raised in Florida, went to art school in la, ca. So now that I'm roughly close enough... I have family there but I have no idea who they are, so, I'm going to visit sometime soon. Summer though. I don't do winter well. Haha.

today a kid died by a car i was heading from my concert and a guy with a cello got ran over and it was like seirious his head was bleeding and he was like my best friend and i also play cello and i was devistated and i neerly faintied!

I have to say, that shot of the symphony crowd is mildly offputting. At first you see all the green on the lawn in front of the orchestra, with nicely spaced lawn chairs and such. Then you notice the packed crowds around the edges, and you think, "Oh, the grass is for the wealthy, and the heathen masses can crowd around the edges." That's not the real Missoula. No way.
The old man's hair is now totally grey, he hasn't seen a dentist in years. His legs are spindly and his voice is weak. He sings in $5.00 beer joints and is happy to have anything to feed his ego at the end of his life.
...missoula has always been, and always will be my home, it is a place unlike any other city in the U.S. such character, diversity, and a very strong community bond.
I will live and die here in Missoula, and my kids will be born here too, we are very proud to be Montanans, and Missoulians as well!!

i was born in San Diego, but moved to montana when i was 4 and lived there until i was 13. Why my mom moved me i still dont know. Its like a well kept secret, a hidden treasure even. everyone there is incredibly nice, sights are beautiful and you get to see all 4 seasons. I will be back soon enough. applying for the U of M.
K just to clear it up it was smelly when wood stoves were still allowed within city bounds, a law was passed like 20 years ago banniing wood stove because the gases weren't able to escape the valley.
