  • RICHMOND HILLS!! queens

  • Amazed to listen to this song.. the rituals of Bihari marriage are sung in this song "Mor Tor Lava milaye" refers to Popcorn (maka ke Lava) mixing ritual in Bihari marriages. It is so exhalirating to know that they have been able to preserve it even in their fourth generation of departure. I am a Bihari so I can very well relate to this song...

  • did they have to show the girls in the chutney show embarassing themselves, acting like strippers? what does this have to do with maticoor? I was born and raised in trinidad and still i have never been to one of those degrading chutney shows. Those girls who think they looking nice they actually look disgusting.

  • @ Nitro300 this is not true the majority of Indians who came to Trinidad were from the regions of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, And Bengal Calcutta area, Minorities came from present day Pakistan then known as West Punjab, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Andrah Pradesh, Orissa, Jammu and kasmir. As for my family they came from Delhi, UP, & Tamil Nadu

  • @Kshatriya4u77 that is true indians from trinidad came from all over india. my ancestors from my mom side came from goa and my dad side came from calcutta.

  • Classic

  • LOL !!! I like the guy at 2:56 LOL !!!!

  • Ok Chicks are fine, Tune is catchy......its spicy (chutney) loooooooool........

  • omg!! this is actually really good and the bigs could dance :D

  • HEY he came to the ITP pavillion a couple of years ago and me and meh friends were his dancers!!!! LOL KOOL XD

  • @satt86 - you ignorant piece of shit, most indians ive seen are WAY behind guyanese/trini indians in north america economically and socially. stick to your elitist ways, see how far it gets you living with 400 other indians in the same house.

  • @paradigm905 that's why you are and fundamentally and stereotypically low class rum sucking bottle opening COOLIE.

  • @paradigm905 hey Mr. Paradigm coolie

  • @paradigm905 thts cusz trini indians been in north america way longer than just indians ...if were there that long we would be more successful

  • Garbage Garbage and more Garbage this is why carribean indians will always be behind indians. It's unfortunate they are so ignorant of there own actions.

  • @satty86 your is deal you think the Caribbean Indians are behind Indians from India so let me guess you must be a Indian from India and you think that your the hottest shit to ever walk this earth just to let you know there is only one race of Indians OK no such thing as Caribbean Indians get your shit straight.

  • @nitro300 keep working at the mechanic shop

  • @nitro300 so as a Trinidadian or indo-Caribbean person do you consider yourself fully indian?

  • @rosepetals900 yes because my ancestors are from india.

  • @nitro300 actually if you reserch, the place in india that most trinis came form is modern day pakistan...soo that means your actually a paki not an indian lol

  • @FullSwagSyceGame507 i find that hard to believe that i am paki so you would consider your self paki then.

  • @nitro300 idk man look it up and c what you find, this is sensitive topic because its involving a entire peoples identity. but one must remember pakistan wa sindia back in those days so any people that came from that region would be called indian

  • @FullSwagSyceGame507 that's absolutely untrue....as Kshatriya said...so not repeating it...my family is from Bihar and Calcutta..

  • @FullSwagSyceGame507 ......ahmmm from beyond kashmir.....i find that difficult to believe.....added to which pakistan and bangladesh were part of india .........at any rate who gives a damn......i could argue both sides till am blue in the face and it wont affect the price of rice......

  • @satty86 Dude, Caribbean indians worse off than other Indians? Have you taken a look at India friend? Where rivers flow like sewers? Where overpopulation runs rampant? Where people starve and die in the streets? What, will you defend and say there's a middle and upper class although the poverty stricken lower classes outnumber them 10 to 1? Why the infighting people? Why not work together?

  • Correct me if I am right Trini peeps: the language used by Rikki in this song is more Bhojpuri than Hindi, right?

  • @Vynsparks correct, i understand hindi, but i don't understand most of what he's saying in the song because it is sung in bhojpuri as quite a few chutney songs are =)

  • @Vynsparks YES IT IS BHOJPURI , IT IS ALSO USED IN GUYANA !!

  • DI SONG MAD!

  • i love dis song go trinizzzz

  • the way i see it no group of people is better than the other we all have our own issues. and as people of the Caribbean we should be banding together instead of pulling each other back and putting each other down. yes its fine to be proud of your country but it doesnt mean you have to put down another, it is both unnecessary and a waste of time

  • true big up to di caribbean ppl
