Penn State doesn't play I-AA teams, that's Michigan. Sure ok Penn State lost but it was just a regular game loss, we didn't get obliterated like many were hoping.
It isn't going to happen. The more I hear about it, the less likely it sounds. Michigan is going to get teh bare minimun. The player is elegible under NCAA terms, just not Big ten. Also, Michigan reported it themselves when they found out it happened. Also, the player played only a few plays in the game (on special teams)
Our Michigan and Illinois losses (which weren't "crushing defeats", but close games) were played with bad strategy. We changed it up and clobbered Iowa, historically tough Wisconsin, and Indiana. Losing to a cupcake team like Illinois was a sure sign our strategy sucked, so we changed it. Compare us now to then to see the difference.

Our biggest mistake: Using the weak strategy that destroyed cupcake teams like FIU and Buffalo. We used the Iowa and Wisconsin games to clean up our strategy and we put away a formidible Indiana opponent making our streak over them 11 (bigger than your famous 9 winning streak over PSU).
I know Indiana's usually a cupcake team, but this year they're actually something that a lot of the big schools (PSU, OSU, UM, MSU, etc) are actually worrying about.
What I really wanna do is see Penn State ruin a perfect season Indiana might have in the future. And with the way they're playing this year it could happen.
I'll agree that most of their seasons in the past 15 years were horrendous, but the 1993 season and this season they're about how PSU was last year qualitywise, which is good but not championship quality. The way I see it, no matter how good Indiana gets, we'll always be that one team to beat them.

Penn State doesn't play I-AA teams, that's Michigan. Sure ok Penn State lost but it was just a regular game loss, we didn't get obliterated like many were hoping.

It isn't going to happen. The more I hear about it, the less likely it sounds. Michigan is going to get teh bare minimun. The player is elegible under NCAA terms, just not Big ten. Also, Michigan reported it themselves when they found out it happened. Also, the player played only a few plays in the game (on special teams)

Our Michigan and Illinois losses (which weren't "crushing defeats", but close games) were played with bad strategy. We changed it up and clobbered Iowa, historically tough Wisconsin, and Indiana. Losing to a cupcake team like Illinois was a sure sign our strategy sucked, so we changed it. Compare us now to then to see the difference.

so? you were playing lame lloyd! Every blind man within 50 miles knew Mike Hart was going to get the ball almost every play, and you still couldn't stop him! That was WITH 9 men in the box too! Including the hugely overrated Dan Connor (watching Hart kick his ass on a blocking play was great fun.)

Our biggest mistake: Using the weak strategy that destroyed cupcake teams like FIU and Buffalo. We used the Iowa and Wisconsin games to clean up our strategy and we put away a formidible Indiana opponent making our streak over them 11 (bigger than your famous 9 winning streak over PSU).

I know Indiana's usually a cupcake team, but this year they're actually something that a lot of the big schools (PSU, OSU, UM, MSU, etc) are actually worrying about.
What I really wanna do is see Penn State ruin a perfect season Indiana might have in the future. And with the way they're playing this year it could happen.

I'll agree that most of their seasons in the past 15 years were horrendous, but the 1993 season and this season they're about how PSU was last year qualitywise, which is good but not championship quality. The way I see it, no matter how good Indiana gets, we'll always be that one team to beat them.
