  • he's right about those arms breaking alot always the pins that hold the arm in place break alot when it happens the whole thing comes crashing down and you either wait for the shop too come too the route or go back too the yard either way your down at least 1 hour maybe more

  • Very nice. Looked pretty good 'back in the day' :)

  • thats pretty awesome you have this video. neat to see these trucks when they were near new. They look awesome! Really slings lids open at times too. Bummer it wasnt of a victorville exclusive, a custom msl/asl conversion. That would have been pretty sweet as well!

  • @3amrepmike3 I'm currently freaking out because I have a video of a Shu-Pack conversion truck but I can't find the DVD that it's on. I'm also 90% sure I have a picture of a Heil F7000 with the funky grippers before it got a Sunbelt arm slapped on it. I'll continue searching. I have a couple pictures on my Flickr that might be a conversation.

  • @garbageboycd *conversion

  • @garbageboycd best of luck finding it! Id absolutely love seeing that!

  • same here, one yard helps the other

  • @TheTrashman97 I mean, it's the same yard. Just some trucks say Victorville Disposal, some say Victorville Recycling, some say Victorville Disposal and Recycling and others say AVCO Disposal

  • wow love the hopper cover, things :P great looking machine!!

  • @TheTrashman97 I think VictorVille's the only place that uses those, I have another video that I am still hunting for.

  • @garbageboycd well amrepmike record one about 2 months ago but its AVCO that has those hopper cover things so they still exist :)

  • @TheTrashman97 AVCO operates out of VictorVille Disposal. They are all Burrtec. Sometimes AVCO trucks do VV and sometimes VV does Apple Valley.

  • OH YEAH! A fuckin NICE Maxon! Nice suprise!

  • @CurottoCanMaster82 Thanks...lol....Maybe a TAD too excited?

  • @CurottoCanMaster82 Lol calm down...it's just a FUCKING AWESOME TRUCK! OMG!

  • @reyflow8 I know right! Its like HELL YEAH!! Fuckin rare! You just have to live with it I mean...common! lol

  • @CurottoCanMaster82 dude chill out F&F Gomez still makes them but rarely :( still Victorville is fuckin awsome

  • @CurottoCanMaster82 NO ITS JUST AWESOME! LIVE WITH IT!

  • @CurottoCanMaster82 Lol...yes.

  • That is one sweet-lookin' truck! Love the high hopper, gives it that early 90's model look. lol, Great job! And hooray for good ol' VHS tapes! lol. I'm surprised you found one after all those years..!

  • @reyflow8 I miss these trucks, but yeah really old video. I can't find the one with the recycle on it. I found the DVD but somehow it looks like it was deleted. Maybe there's another one somewhere...

  • @garbageboycd Ah k..

  • Cool video Also this was never an msl it was built an asl but they put the high hopper on them because of the wind

  • @100Burrtec100 Thanks, my mistake. I wrote that before I actually watched it because I have a video of one somewhere that actually was a conversion truck.

  • @garbageboycd yeah it too bad they dont have the conversions anymore because they are trying to modernize their fleet

  • nice work love Victorville Disposal well these are good arms if the driver knows what he is doing

  • @AlliedWaste76 Actually, that's why these arms are going extinct. They brake far too often and are difficult to repair. We had a sub-truck at LEAST once a month (That was actually a sub, I believe) and once they needed a sub-truck for the sub...soo yeah.

  • @garbageboycd well these arems are not going extinct F&F Gomez still make them ABQ Solid Waste is getting to 2 for Amreps trucks they like Sunbelt arms and Amrep bodys so they figure to do that to some of them ABQ loves Amreps and Sunbelt arms
