you are a genius Mate! so many people has comment about how to place Light inside! It's pretty easy! if you know about "Westcott Apollo Orb" its almost the same you made! so for all the people how to insert light inside! search "Westcott Apollo Orb" on google & youtube! and you will find out

In add a want to tell you that your umbrella has got 8 sides and not 6 as you think!! :)

@ptlofts true, you could grab up an octibox just like that for about 30 bux, but i'm still a fan of a good DIY project.

that was by far the best DIY video i've seen for a softbox... i was wondering about the light too.... might be best used as a reflector that you shoot the light into
