The department itself is a little cold when it comes to retirement, but the guys at your command is whats important and they will send you off the way that you deserve.
@ENvME1000 Unfortunately my coworkers at my command were not the nicest people to work for so there will be no sending off for me. Its ok though I came into this Department alone and quietly and I will leave the same way.
Congrats on Filing for your Retirement...anyone that can work all those years deserve to retire......its totally natural to feel emotional about it....but like your friends said it will be a new chapter in your life...you'll do fine... :)
