They did get along well for over a year, but I think the cat started to mature and became territorial? I weighed the lungfish a month ago and he has put on 10lbs since I posted this. He eats more vegetable matter like grapes and nuts than meat. He eats alge pellets and carnivore pellets, but turns his noose-up at living food
My girlfriend and I bought him at a local petstore where I had seen him there since I was a child. I'm now 28 and I remember seeing him when the store opened. He was about 8in then, so he may be older than 26? The lady who sold him to me said that she wanted him to retire to a nice home to get lots of care since he's so old. I'm still not sure what type of African Lungfish he is and I can find very little on their lifspan...Also, could anyone give me a positive ID on the catfish?
