The first time I heard this song, Amos Lee sang a small sampling of it while he was being interviewed on an evening program I was half-way paying attention to on an NPR station. That was a while back, and for some reason, what little of the song I heard stuck with me all this time.
Apparently, Lee observed and captured a purpose and a sincerity in someone that I've walked past so mant times in a pretended hurry. Thanks for posting this. It's a 3-minute lesson in the value of all human life.
