  • What a friendly guy! Great video.

  • Randy Grubb.really is a master craftsman! I am not a petrol head in any way - but i admire beauty and creativity and it is wonderful to see someone push the envelope like this and be so modest and passionate about what he creates! Great work!

  • this is the coolest thing that i have ever seen it makes the artic look like it is on fire!

  • This one is clear off the chart!!

  • amazing creation. and randy is so fun to watch talk about what he does. you can tell how much he loves what he does

  • man, this guy must've had a REALLY good dad..

  • Amazing.

  • 2:02 theres a dent in the chrome. :(

  • Just saw this awesome creation a few days ago on I-5 heading south in Medford, OR. Truly a work of art!

  • I saw this masterpiece yesterday and i left a puddle where i was standing..

2 thumbs and toes up.. :)

  • I am grateful that the millionaires are now flocking to his door to have him design something for them.

  • What an amazing creation! Well done, Mr. Grubb! :D

  • completley off the wall ,magnificent

  • I imagine whoever ends up with it will wreck it while driving on top there's no way to see how close you are to vehicle in front of you

  • So beautiful.

  • is there a way to get in touch with Mr. Randy Grubb? Sheet metal and hammer wheel is a lost art that I'd like to keep alive!

  • Somebody inherited Mom & Dad's 401 K's to pay for all the material

that goes into those goofy toys.

  • no one cares what videos you people came from. you clicked the link to this vid so STFU.

  • I live in Oregon and never seen that before. That's awesome!

  • get pulled over in that the cop would be like what the fuck no one is in it??

  • What just happened? How did I get here?

  • Did he just compare his Decaliner to the Sistine Chapel and the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile in the same setting? I think he did. Oh and if he sees it as "The ultimate advertising tool", then why don't he go with Betty Crocker to match the cupcake grill.

  • WOW! AWESOME!

  • i want.....i want.....i need to drive everything i see

  • If there were a Rapture Elementary, then this is what Frank Fontaine's wife would drop their kids off in.

  • how much is it

  • id love to see its crash test rating

  • We got a chance to see this at the 2011 SEMA show! Beautiful work! This was my favorite at the show! :) I love vintage! Thanks for sharing this.

  • 0_o beautiful....

  • I went from building a greenhouse video to this...and then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • i started off from dubstep to this...i need to stay away from the weird part of youtube...

  • When I saw the pics for this video, I thought it was some kind of updated Dymaxion ((built by Buckminster Fuller in the 30's) just google Dymaxion). I remember those GMC motorhomes and thought they were cool, but this machine is unbelievable!!! What a great piece of road art! Gotta love the flying bridge.

  • @rexrecycle2 I thought it looked like a GM Futurliner. Still amazing either way.

  • Please build these and sell them!! I want one in diesel.

  • thank god for people like that.

  • I thought this said The Blastoise Story -- Tuned

  • 29 people are driving mini vans

  • "OH SHIT, A LOW BRIDGE"

  • this is awesome and now I know where they got the idea to put those 70 cars in fallout

  • I want one!

  • "Watch out for bridges and hop-ons; you're going to get some hop-ons"

  • Amazing!

  • When he said that was the greatest thing ever, he meant it.

  • Phew, I'm away from the creepy side of YouTube....

  • Hi Grants Pass. Love the creative awsome Decoliner. If I had been a guy, I would be doing the same things you are. We come from the 50s era of winged vehicles etc. so never lost the love of the big creative vehicles. Thanks for the tour of GP. Love you here on the coast.

  • Awesome machine, worth watching.

  • wow!! this is awsome I'm lost for words amazing work, this is something most people will wanna shsre with others to encourage em, to dream big because they come true. GREAT ACOMPLISHEMENT!! THAT'S SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF REARANGING and rebuilding at it's best!!

  • Man that is beautiful!

  • So a lost art form today is people not taking the same time that you think you do in your work? I'm confused by that statement because how can you know that about other people's projects? You spoke of working thousands of hours on a single project. I've worked thousands of hours on various computer projects. That doesn't warrant my work as anything less hard or not finding a powerful art form in my work.

  • I want to see a Picasso vehicle.

  • fascinating....i'd like to see you try your hand at an exotic.

  • like it alot i wish i drive that

  • Beautiful, I love the deco style.

  • Dymaxion

  • Richard Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller Three Wheeler.

  • is the alightnment off or was he just driving over the line the whole time?

  • how did i get here from watching a fashion video?

  • this has got to be one of the coolest custom builds i have ever seen. i do body work with cars myself, but i dont have this kind of talent. some guys have all the luck.

  • This is what made and makes America great. The spirit of innovation that comes from the heart and bright minds. Totally impressed with your passion and your results. I used to manage a large company and it was minds like this that made it into the most profitable company in the United states during one of our worst recessions. Innovation, added value, removal of paradigm thinking and of course "Kaizen". Thanks for taking the time to post this. Totally impressed.

    ~Jeffro - :)

  • girl can sunbathe naked up top and have sex privately on the bottom

  • I'd drive the shit out of that RV.

  • I went from a drifting video to this

  • @krazykarl9z2

yo I went from some crazy ass snake video to this. WTF?

  • @krazykarl9z2 so did i :P

  • @krazykarl9z2 I came here from gummy bear suicide

  • @krazykarl9z2 i came from deadmou5 to this...

  • @krazykarl9z2 I was looking at 60s muscle cars, now im here. what happened

  • @krazykarl9z2

    I would do the same!

  • I could use a gate on the exit stairs.

  • DecoLiner, clearly unusual.

I think it would be neat to get an old bus, something from the 50's, and use it as an RV.

None of the awnings that fold onto the side bit.

No, if I were to do something like that I would do a tent, supported in the center only to the bus and pipes to the sides.

In this manner there would be nothing but sleek lines, no large arms along the sides.

  • what is the name of the background song is this video?. i absolutly love it

  • If, you love this, you might love a new sport design Winnebago I came up with a couple of years ago, while playing with my grandson's toy car.

  • That's just awesome! No doubt American craftsmanship and enginuity at it's best! And all out of some guys back yard shop!

Keep up the good work dude!

    What will you do next?

  • One of these days when you least expect it, you will round a corner and a low slung telephone wire or cable tv wire will catch you under the chin, and that's all folks!

  • I have a hard time listening to what y'all are saying over the piano music!

  • cool good hobby to have if you have enough money

  • What can i say? other than This man has a fantastic Imagination with the ability to make it come to life.

  • what the fuckkkk!!!

  • Why is this video always posted on the right of the screen. We get it, its a stupid van wonderful no go away. Should be named the fuck off tolene.

  • piece of shit

  • This man absolutely thinks outside the box of traditional design.

  • At 6:26 do I spot broken bezel glass? Amazing RV though :)

  • This is such an amazing piece of art! I don't think my jaw closed the entire time I watched this video. I am extremely impressed with the level of quality, style, and uniqueness... WOW!

  • helps to have all those very expensive tools - lol I have the creativity, just not the money to make it happen.

  • reminds me of future scooby doo!!! :D

  • leather interior... you already know.

  • This is so fucking cool.

  • This man is the true embodiment of what "hot rod" & "custom" is supposed to be all about.

  • Lets hot box that bus ha ha.

  • Me and rockets.. Don't get along so well.

  • WOW!!!!

I'd pay just for a ride on top of that monster!

    Where do I sighn?

  • go shasta lake ahhaha yea woooooo and that thing is so sweet ahha

  • Looks like a Who Mobile.

  • i luv ur sarcasm at 4:40 :D

  • I'm sure that snoop dogg would approve of your bus babe. YOU ROCK! (.^_^.)

  • haha snoop would always be on the roof.

  • I enjoyed the fuck out of this video and had hella respect for him for custom making everything. Then I lost all of it when he said at the end he built this for advertising. How disappointing.

  • @XBLZeruiah In the end, it was for advertising for some Co. or not, but he built it out of the love of doing it. That's why so much time and work with his hands went into it. This isn't his only piece of sculpture (as he puts it)... Rembrandt and Pacaso didn't keep all their art either, but they did each one out of love.

  • @XBLZeruiah he didn't mean it like that. He loves people's reaction to it, and knows that if he sells it to a private collector it will sit in a warehouse or museum and people won't see it. If Red Bull or something buys it, they will tour the country in it and people will get to enjoy it.

  • wait till it rains

  • @kelidoscopegod12 there is a tonneau cover for the flybridge.

  • what a sweet ride ! How much ??? I want one !!

  • @gpoutdoors randy's looking for the high six figures for it.

  • HOW MUCH ????????????????????

  • I thought that I made weird stuff, hats off to ya

  • how much will you sell that thing for

  • hey were do you store the bags.

  • Randy is a creative and mechanical genius. I see more and more vehicles now with video game "transformer" grills which are a turn off. Randy knows that styling attracts, and that the vehicle underneath should be designed and working perfectly. That will sell.

  • They never demonstrated the spotlight!

  • @Dragdamar true, moderate fail there. But we checked, it does work.

  • That is beautiful! Is the cab from a White 3000?

  • @4spd4life yes it is!

  • very cool!

  • fallout 3 lookin van in the woods..............seems legit

  • Could this get anymore boooooring?

  • @Mr517519 Well if you have an IQ under 80 anything not blowing up is boring. Get yourself tested.

  • @Dragdamar ... Your name Dragdamar sounds like your one of thoses Role Playing Video Game Nerds... Let me guess, you got beat up a lot in school... It really does show.

  • Why are all of the cool designers and builders building bikes, cars, houses, furniture, guns, and tatoos. I challenge any one of you guys to build a true successor to the The Hammond tone wheel & Wurlitzer electrostatic reed organs. Great electromechanical wonders, used tube amps for amplification. All pure sound from wire and metal. The transistor, bless it's own beauty diverted from electromechanical...wire and metal. Anyone?

    Google

    Wurlitzer 4600 series organs

    Hammond Tone Wheel organ

    Ready?GO

  • Cool story bro.

  • The design is quite similar to a Chrysler Airflow circa 1930's.... very awesome. Why not encourage teens to be creative instead of self destructive? Just another idea that would be great for people (communities) to put into practice... Channel excess energy into creativity.

  • love it...very inspiring

  • It looks like something Dr Seuss would drive.

  • You got one that will pull a horse trailer??

  • The host is a douchebot.

  • You sir are a true gentleman that knows his job! I salute you!

  • I've had nightmares about driving something like that, controlling something from up high.

  • Randy, you are amazing with your stuff. Like someone said here, WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU !!!!!!!! If you are ever in the Tampa Bay area in Florida, Clearwater, please let me know, we have some great car clubs in our area, and we would appreciate your visit here. Thanks.

  • @Bamchucknorris it has a rebuilt GM 455 Heavy Duty engine, that was original equipment on the GMC motorhome in the 1970's.

  • Drive across country in that. Around the U.S. 30 city tour. Sweeeeeeeeeeet

  • Tell me about your Schwinn?

Well, it's a stainless steel frame that I built, and it has TWO one hundred and 10 pound pulse jet engines

    lolz

  • Do you run the risk of getting a mean static shock by touching passing traffic light housing?

  • all he needs is a dog in the original front seat! drive-thrus are out of the question.

  • The man is a GENIUS!!! He is very talented & creative! The Decoliner, as well as the other projects they are working on, are incredible!! I was amazed at how easy it was to drive! I am almost speechless & very jealous!! I was I had that much talent & imagination. That looks like a blast! It would be a cool vehicle to take on a ROAD TRIP! It would make a great party bus too!! I can't begin to imagine what it cost. I bet his kids & his grandkids have cool toys to play with that he built.

  • The guy with the hat sounds like Jimmy Kimmel!

  • Crazy genius!

  • This is too freakin AWESOME, but the damn audio sucks, bad. Very muffled sounding, that's a shame - good story.

  • imagine if the pranksters had this for the acid tests..

  • incredible. totally 50's / 30's style. art deco

  • soooo awesome great work!!!

  • This is so cool. It would, without a doubt, make me look twice.

  • My dad ignored me, but he'd discover eventually that I was up to something in the garage, so then he'd go in there to investigate, surmise that I was making either a mess, a hazard, or both, and then he'd do the same thing every time: yank the tool from my hand, throw it in the tool box, slam the lid shut, and snarl through gritted teeth, "STAY OUT OF MY TOOLBOX." Sometimes he would emphasize this by shaking his fist in my face. I was afraid of him, so I learned to not touch his tools.

  • @hummlyhummly well that's not very nice. That sucks. I used to build stuff in my backyard with my dad. he was a tool and die maker, so he had all the metal working techniques, and he was really nice to me, we would work together on projects, and if there was some hardware problem, or home repair in the house, we would figure a way to fix it.
