Hey I knew a girl that put her acrylic painting (I'm pretty sure on wood) in the microwave for a very short time and it did the same thing. Very interesting effect!
Been using the technique all week. I'm getting better at "growing" bubbles. One piece is coming along particularly well. And I finally found some BITUMEN!! Yay!
Great video Gary. I finally know how to do this RIGHT! Maybe I won't be so frustrated now! My house paint wasn't thick enough- and I didn't wait over night for it to dry. THANKS....
fabulous! i sometimes get tiny bubbles when i paint or gesso and get impatient and use the heat gun. to know i could do big bubbles on purpose is wonderful!
@EvolutionLIE Tough questions...I don't know where it is heading! I'm taking it a day at a time. Of course I have goals- I'm writing 2 books, one about my techniques and the other about my thoughts on Art and things i feel are important to share. Apart from that I am happy where i am and doing what i love. Sure a few exhibitions here and there are good but somehow they are an anti climax. Hung in the Louve!! Well that certainly is a Big Dream
Your song choices is really hurting your appeal, haha.

Ever try bubbles in fabric? It's an interesting technique.

I love this technique! Thanks for sharing. So far I can only get tiny bubbles like 3:48 -guess I need to leave my house paint out for longer.

@CapricornArtist73 ..may i ask, why do you feel exhibitions can be 'anti-climactic' ?
