I saw this one guy at burnside doing like super perfect ollies and was like woah. Then I noticed people spitting at him and calling him names so I was like huh. It turnes out he had a magnet on his shoe and steel on the board. Funny.
thanks for the comment, but you are wrong. the flowboard is actually more forgiving on landing and you don't have to land perfectly flat like on the rigid ride of traditional bushing trucks. that being said, the flowboard really excells at just flowing or carving around down hills or through skateparks. But, thanks for posting like you are some type of expert because you spent a few minutes on one.
I've ridden one before. It's too hard to do any tricks, and you can kiss your grind tricks goodbye after stepping onto one. It's also very hard to land tricks, because you have to land perfectly centered. And the wheels weight a lot. And it's hard to do flip tricks on the board. All of the best footage on here was done on a regular skateboard. The problem with a flowboard is that it becomes a handicap rather than something that helps performance and control.
