Lisa, this Blakeney is a most charming place...though it seems a bit bleak and chilly. The architecture is truly appealing to me and I bet they are quite snug in those little cottages...good thing they were built before Fin got there or there would have been no stones left! lol thanks for bringing me along
@tps607 Lol thats true about Fin! Yes our coastline is unforgiving in bad weather, feels like its ripping your cheeks apart when its windy, but all beautiful places have a price huh x
now that,s very different. great little cottages really nice I would love to live there. I would call mine MMMm! Banshee bach, the house of the draco. and I would smoke a pipe. and blow smoke rings throw the window. and sing shanties.
Another beautiful video!! Your videos make me want to travel. Someday when the kids are grown, hopefully I will be able to travel and see all the things I want to see. Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos!!!
@SamanthaPonce Thank you Samantha, thats why I love youtube! You get get to see the places on the other side of the world that you dream about.... I have travelled through the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone on here! I am glad you enjoyed it, I have a four year old so most of my travelling is local now, this is only an hour from me! :)
It is so beautiful there i have wanted to visit England ever since the Beatles hit our shores lol i gues it's never going to happen..... only in my dreams Thanks for this cyber tour HUGGZZZZZZZZZ
@larosity Thank you :) Back in those days it was the only way they built, flint is so rich in this whole area, almost everything from these era's was built with it!
You may be surprised to hear that I have never been to Blakeney ....(although I live in Lowestoft !.) .. I have always missed the road that leads to the village !!
Thanks so very much for putting this flim on You Tube ... it is absolutely superb ... I love it ..... you have done Blakeney proud ........
Your photographs are beautiful , and I must make the effort to go there myself ...... not to make a fim , as I would be hard pressed to make one as nice to watch as yours !
@hjdnad Really?? To be honest, the sat nav lead me all through country lanes ignoring the actual blakeney signs, but it got us there really well. Worth a day out. Very difficult to drive down to the Quay on a busy day, and really windy...
Thank you for your compliments :)
Next holiday is all about Finley, going to Caister right on the beach later this year!
Absolutely love your choice of music, adore the song "No Mermaid". Blakeney looks really lovely. You know I love the no dogs or crocs sign lol and the doors! Well done Lisa, another beautiful video. x
How absolutely beautiful this is Lisa. Having always stayed in the city, I'm torn between longing for a place like this to stay and the hustle and bustle of the life I know. I just love the look of little villlages like this, but don't know if I could stand the quietness. Hope you both had a special time there. Thanks and hugs..Jan (and Susan) ♥
I am originally from London and my skin crawls at the thought of going back. I live in a small Norfolk village now, have done since I was a kid, actually, Blakeney was only an hours drive! lol....once the country gets in your heart you could never bare living in a city again. But then again.. some people come from the city and cant bare the quiet and move back! lol Hugs xxx
Strange that I should still think village life would be too quiet, when I'm practically housebound now anyway, is'nt it? I'm really pleased you've found such a beautiful place to settle in. The city is'nt ideal for raising children now. Have a nice Sunday.♥
Love It you make me all home sick,I need to get back to Britain for a little break and go for a little stroll down these delightful little narrow streets,55555555 David.
@beachfrontal Come home David!!!!!! lol..... England is a strange country, I once lived out of the country and there was a strong pull for me that I hadnt bargained for.... hugs x
@Donovanblu Thank you Blu for coming to see it :) You could get inspired to write here huh? Even me.... lol

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
'Bout the flapping fish and girls I've loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it's all true,
I swear by my tattoo

Lol!!! And if you did all that I would be sneaking photo's of you from behind a wall!
I almost called my house "bean sidhe" but I knew no one would pronounce it right so I settled on Moon Haven :)
