This is really good, and with a bit more polish and practice, this'll be even better. For what it's worth, Mason Williams plays this at about 164 beats per minute, which is pretty damn fast. He only makes it sound so casual because he plays it so effortlessly. Also, it's natural to have a bit of nerves when the webcam is recording. Much support for you, keep it up.

I like it--one thing...you might want to accentuate some of the passages more 'colorfully'.....I guess I'm sensing that you're tending to 'rush' through some of the phrasing. Clapton never did any version of Gas. Check out Mason's website, he also says the same thing. There are versions out there that incorrectly give Clapton credit. My husband is a protege of Mason's. Check out his stuff. Search for Sinai 48 on youtube, and also itunes, amazon and wherever else you can search! My husband also does an AMAZING version of Gas.

Actually this version isnt by Clapton either. Clapton didn't do a single recording of this song. According to Mason Williams, he has no clue if Eric did a cover of this and if that's the case then if this version was by Clapton, then he didn't get Legal permission for it. Mason wrote this version as well because of the high fame of his song.
