  • CONTD @bajanseven AFRICA'S PEOPLE, NON-HUMAN ANIMALS & THEIR ENVIRONMENT HAVE BEEN ROBBED OF THEIR INHERITANCE, HEALTH, ECO & SOCIAL JUSTICE. I KNOW THAT THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS ARE NOT AWARE OF THE DEVASTATING IMPACT THEIR CONSUMERISM HAS ON THE PLANET & PEOPLES WITHIN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES MUCH LESS OTHER NATIONS.

  • @bajanseven I AM AN ETHICAL VEGAN & I ALSO AVOID "PALM" (RAIN-FOREST DEFORESTATION,ORANGUTANS...). BY "SENTIENT BEINGS" I MEAN ALL FEELING, THINKING, AWARE ANIMALS WHICH INCLUDES (MOST) HUMAN BEINGS. I AGREE THAT THE ENTIRE CONTINENT OF AFRICA HAS BEEN ACCOSTED BY "DEVELOPED" NATIONS (ex. USA, CHINA) & IT'S A DISGRACE. GREED DRIVEN BY POWERFUL, WEALTHY INDIVIDUALS &/OR CORPORATIONS. IT'S ONE OF MODERN HUMAN CIVILIZATIONS GREATEST TRAGEDIES. EVERYONE & EVERYTHING WILL LOSE.

  • how much did they pay these women to repeat this bulshit. it is obvious they are reading their comments off a paper. you people will go to any length to disseminate your tripe. America consumes more meat than africa with a much smaller population. if you are concerned about exotic animals then stop raping africa and pay your reparations by establishing livestock agriculteral sectors in the various countries. but no, that might create wealth for africans, hummm.

  • the Liberian government HAS to do something to stop this....

  • murder as a "business"... ?

    i don't think so.

our species is DOOMED if we continue to pillage & plunder nature and make our livelyhoods (& or financial profit) off of the LIFE of other sentient beings.

  • @julesrs007 You (the US) continue to pillage and plunder nature everyday, you call it the federal reserve system and let us not forget your incessant warmongering which has taken more lives than any set of african hunters. what? didn't you know that people are part of nature too or are you just another brainwashed american?

  • Eat more people in africa. More meat

  • i hope more african people are slaughtered. that is the problem. too many people that are worthless in africa.

  • If they won't stop harvesting animals from the bush, then at least teach them something about retail marketing. The meat sellers are clueless.

Presentation is everything in the shopping experience. Sight, sound, and smell (the 3 S's) are to be paramount.

I would never shop in the environment that the sellers have provided. Why, with proper training, they could triple last years sales.

  • Not that easy to raise that many chimps.

  • A chimpanzee farm would not work for this reason:

They live in highly social groups.

This means if they were farmed, social bonds could not be maintained. This would result in Stress, and consequently the chimpanzees would lose weight, become withdrawn or even violent towards each other and therefore become usless for human consumption.

Interestingly, as an alternative protein source to bushmeat. Cane rats have been farmed, this could work.

  • Chimps would do just fine in isolation. You aren't a farmer. Just provide food and medical care. Castration puts an end to animal confrontations.

  • Chimpanzees would not do fine in isolation. A farmer would know even less about Chimpanzees than you do.

  • It's a joke. Nothing more. Don't be so serious.

  • this is a joke: what are the only bees that produce milk..boobies

  • If you are trolling you may appreciate this:

    TWAT

  • This is a compelling story.i supported this trade by purchasing bush meat before being educated about the health effects and the conservational side of the trade.

liberia is very rich in bio-diversity and such we need to protect endangered animals and their habitat.

let's invest in eco-tourism and we all as a nation can benefit for generations to come

  • god , somebody help these pleople find other means of income

  • The wildlife trade is the 3rd most lucrative illegal market in the world...just after Drugs and Arms. This is a vile business. The fact the women here feel there is no other option is hard to accept. This trade is not sustainable.

  • hey lucy, niggaz gotta eat too

  • But still, killing and selling endangered animals isn't the right answer...
