Wow...this brings back great memeories..I grew up in Brunswick, OH, and I used to watch Hoolihan and Big Chuck. As soon as I saw Mary Hartski....I just had to check this out.
No, that's Big Chuck, Houlihan was the skinner dude...I loved that show on Friday or Sat nights when I was a kid...I'm almost 44 now, and wish I wa a kid again after seeing this!! LOL!!
The actress who played "Mary Hartski" was Laura Senn. She was much better looking than Louise Lasser in real life but every bit as off center as the Mary Hartman character. Laura left Cleveland around '82 or '83 but left plenty of memories behind, some of which can't be repeated here, LOL. Telebob- I'm pretty sure TV 8 was home to the whole MH franchise, including MH, MH2 and Fernwood 2Night. Incidentally, Martin Mull and Fred Willard are both Cleveland area natives.
Way to jog me memory...if I'm not mistaken, it was channel 8 that aired "MH2" in the Cleveland market. In the area of NW PA where I grew up we had an old-fashioned yagi antenna with a signal booster and rotor which meant one could view different "seasons" of Mary Hartman on stations in Youngstown, Cleveland and even sometimes Toledo in the same week. Got any video of the Kolbassi Kid?
Here's hoping Tom likes a really completed look. And hey, Mary didn't waste any of the wallpaper!

ROTFL!! Who is saying "Oh wow, Tom spent a buck fifty a roll for that wallpaper...? IS that Hoolihan? I'm sitting here dying!!!!

yeah, I believe that is Hollihan. I remember Big Chuck once said that "Hoolihan was good at doing an effeminate sounding voice. A little too good."

Yes, MH aired on WJ[K]W/TV8 in Cleveland in 76 and 77, and was rerun off-and-on over the next few years. It was also on WKBN/27 in Youngstown.
Yes, I have a bunch of Kielbasi Kid's, and will upload them when I get time.

This lady was just such a ringer for the "real" Mary Hartman. H,BC and LJ always had a great supporting cast.

Work on the hands, she was always very relaxed while tense: a conundrum. I only wish I could do something like this.

I remember "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman". First it was nightly at 11:30. I saw the show once.
