In Denmark several studies have been made, and all of them conclude that the Danish royal family, earn more money (via. turism, publicity, tabloids etc...) than they spend.... The Danish taxation is incredibly high, even for a Keynesian welfare state, taxes are aimed to benefit all, and should not be thrown away so recklessly, such as $28 millions for a single family to enjoy.

You have no clue what you are talking about. First of all Denmark has the highest salaries in the WORLD, so those high taxations are very balanced. Danish people are rich people who can afford luxury such as travelling and big houses. Denmark has one of the highest living standards in the world and is the country with LEAST inequality, THANKS to the taxes they pay.

@mbud84 Besides that, the taxes they pay make sure that EVERYONE have free health care (doctor, hospital, operations, etc. of the highest quality!). All Danes have 100% free education. ALL students (18+) receive around 1000 USD a month which is enough to maintain yourself without a work in Denmark. Inspite of that, young people work and can afford to travel and buy luxury. THANKS to the taxes.

The state helps the least advantaged, the immigrant, the single mother economically. In Denmark, poverty does not exist on a world level and everyone has got a chance in this society. It is the second peaceful country in the world, because everyone no one has to struggle to survive. Usual unemployment: 1,9%

Etc. etc. According to scientific researches, Danes are among the most satisfied and "happy" people in the world and the reason why this is probably true, is that Danes have no insecurities or worries for the future, they know that they will not end up living on the street, because their taxes create the basis for a very high welfare that you can't find in any other country.

When the government tried to lower the taxes, Danes went on the street to protest AGAINST that, they want to pay the taxes they pay, since they can see the benefits on a daily basis. Instead of spending tax money on corruption (Denmark is the least corrupt country in the world) they spend money on welfare.
