at 0:16 he put that thing that he was holding on his right hand behind the note

and then he fold the note backward so they cant see that thing.

after making the note "float" at 1:32 he removed that thing from the note by using his finger nails and thumb to pushed it out of the note and hide it behind his right hand once again

that thing is very likely to be a gold coin

At the beginning he has a counter-weight in his closed right hand. He slips the counter-weight it into the bill just before folding it. It naturally stays balanced with the counter-weight inside. At the end he lets it slide back into his right palm. Watch carefully.

my opinion:

i think cyril inserted a tiny metal on that money and thats why it is folded that way to simply hide the inserted metal (very small) to make it slightly heavier on the right thumb. It can be a small piece of gold or platinum (heavy metals) so that it can support the weight on the otherside

look at his right hand as if he is removing something at 1:34 and vertically showed the money at 90 degress angle at 1:36 to remove the metal sliding to his hand and is closed until end
