YES you can make the BRAKE longer or shorter, but you have to go into the effects in virtual dj and increase or decrease the lenght of it.

This is a good product i use it for my mixing. I Started with vynal back in the day and then pioneer cdj8000 from 2004 to 2008. But sold them. But then the dj itch came back and i wanted the serato format but too expensive so i got this model for 249. I was amazed at how good these numark pro is. All my mixes are done with the numark mixpro on my channel.

This is exactly the same as the regular Mixtrack, except it got a sound card. The mixtrack is a really good beginner DJ set up and the scratching and nudge functions is just like on a CDJ. This thing is so easy to map its not funny and you don't even have to be a rain man to map VDJ out yourself its that easy.

I'd have to admit though that I think scratching with Traktor does sound a little more realistic than Virtual DJs Brrrr scratch sound with high pitched sqeaks.

The platter can be sticker for a number of reasons. For example if you want to scratch at a certain point said in the track and you do scratch at that point you will know exactly that point you scratched at just in case you lose your starting scratch point while scratching.

@MeltedSOX cosigned - It would be even nicer if Numark added motorized platers to the mixtrack. It's gonna be hard paying out for the NS7 but they're a beauty. The mixtrack is a very good product, probrably the best usb controller on the market.

hey, just got the mixtrack pro, and everything works, except im having trouble with my headphones and main output. When I had virtualdj and just used my laptop, I had the main output in my left headphone, and cue in my right headphone. Now with the Mixtrack pro, hooked up to an amp and speakers, I have the main working fine through the speakers, and the cue to only one side of headphones, which worked, but i was wonderin how to get the main in the other headphone. Hope you can help. thanks.

@number1peopleperson @ROSAKMALAERES set the mixtrack as your primary soundcard, then set your output to external mixer, you should be able to hear sound from your headphones. That's how i've got mine set to on my mac. I wil do a video going through the full setup in a few days. Thanks for watching
