thank you JER for creating the show passions! it has brought nothing but joy to me since the first day it aired! i still watch it everyday! it is my favorite show of all time!

Jer was my fave headwriter on Days ever. Days was never as good as from 93-97 !!
Days sucks now, and probably will never be that good again :(

This dude was out of his mind, but that's what made him endearing. So many people ragged on him but he ignored it all and kept doing what he was doing.
I miss him a lot.

wow.. i cant believe the creator of passions died. i have been watching passions since i was young. but i never knew what heppened to passion. so passions ended bcuz he died?!?!

No, the last episode of Passions aired on August 7th, 2008. Reilly passed away two months later in October while recovering from cardiac surgery. So he did write the shows ending.

I admired his creativity. He was probably one of the most creative soap opera writers of the 20th/21st century.........

That was a beautiful tribute! He was trully an amazingly creative writer! Passions wouldn't have the same without him! Rest In Piece JER! Thank you soo much for the memories :)

I may have hated JER at one point, but he really wrote some of the best stuff days have ever seen, if not even the best stuff. He will be missed, and very much so to.
