These films will never be matched. I wanted to call my eldest Rusty but my wife Mom would not have it lol Holiday road is a great song always good in the car. That scene where Clark fights with Rusty and he stops, says "sshhhh" then gives him a chinese burn is genius.

I love this film! Loved it as a kid growing up in the 80's, and still love it today. This one (European Vacation) and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are my faves!

Funny addition to the series. Love Mel Smith as the hotel manager. Great to see Eric Idle as the bike rider. Read that Eric and Chevy wrote a screenplay for the vacation series to be set in Australia but it was never made, shame. Thought that Jason Lively as Randy was funny too.

Not the greatest - Eric Idle is funny, When Rusty gets drunks its funny, How about in France when the french "chefs" are nuking the frozen dinners? I didnt really care for the audrey in this movie (she died fyi) however Rusty was pretty cool
