I couldn't help but feel complete sadness. I know this video was optimistic toward the end, but I'm not sure if I can stomach people being tortured. To be honest, I'm scared of doing nothing to fight, or doing something and being tortured myself.

@selectajay2000 Canadians have a strength in them; culturally, we trust eachother - too much, in the case of the gov't and cops - because in the arctic north, you die if your neighbour's not willing to help you. But as hewers of wood, and drawers of water, capitalism is in our lifeblood. Generous and helpful, yes, but in touch with the raw necessities of survival. I'm cautiously optimistic for my homeland.

Gun control drives me nuts, though.
