  • The most entertaining and honest colour man. I grew up listening to him and like the rest of you, will miss seeing and hearing him. He said what the fans wanted to hear! Not what the corporation wanted.

  • Tommy has heart and made the game come alive through his raw and unfiltered emotion during each radio broadcast. Shorty and Tom made a good pair as the play caller and colourful commentator. May your love for the game continue in your retirement Tommy, you will be missed!

  • aww this makes me sad! Was hoping this year we could hear him call our dream of a Stanley Cup!

  • Tommy is so good. In this day and age of overly polished "neutral" broadcasters, he is the sound, nay, the voice of the average Canucks fan. When the 'Nucks are not doing well, he say's exactly what the problem is, no sugar coating. When the team is doing well, his excitement add's a great energy to the broadcast.

  • I heard Tom Larscheid once say to Jim Robson (truthfully): Well Jim, the team that scores the most goals tonight will win the hockey game.

  • awesome.
