My Grandmother has Altziemers. She still remembers me, but it's a very slow goodbye. Most of her personality and who she was is almost gone. She can barely talk anymore (her speech has declined to a point where I can barely make out what she's saying). When I visit her in the nursing home it's like it's not her there. It's like the only thing still alive about her is her body, the shell. She was always there for me when I needed comfort. When she does pass on there her soul will be for me.

I love this song, especially how its linked to the pearl harbor era. How many young soldiers gave their lives, and LOVE defending their countries? This is one story (fictional perhaps), but how many would be similar... hundreds, Im sure? Now, look at present events. We want to embrace a mosque near time square? Thats l ike allowing a Japanese honorarium within a mile of Pearl Harbour in 1948.....What is WRONG with people?
