Also most of the buildings you showed were Greek constructions now occupied by turks. I think you also put your touch on some... like Agia Sophia. Even though I am a Greek national, I consider myself “Citizen of the World”. And as that I have no enemies, and no attachments to the past.
I wish and work for a peaceful world without hatred and the only way for that is to live in present.

1) Do you really want to keep the CYCLE of hatred by getting STUCK in the past and its history?
2) If we do that will it change anything NOW?

Why is it so difficult to let go the past? Why can’t we change, like Earth welcomes Spring after Winter?

It's true that is said to be like you say but the science of History and Archaeology is full of surprises.If you have read the book of Plato "TIMEO", you would have known that Greek civilization appeared first in 9600 B.C. (as Egyptians of 600 B.C. said to Greek philosopher Solon) BEFORE Babylonians,Egyptians etc.
Just this example.There are countless examples of Greek vanguard.

The problem is that the only ancient nation who have authors is Greek and after Roman. If we believe the ancient authors then it's obvious which nation is the most ancient. For example:"Not only the whole civilization but also the whole humanity starts in Greece". Diogenis Laertios (in ancient book "Bios of Philosophers")
The ancient sources are many more...

Every nation had only 1 book (holy book) but ancient Greeks wrote thousands of books for everything (For example: Aristotle wrote a whole book for...laugh where he said the legendary : "A day without laugh is a wasted day"

Also i can understand the political reason why the scientists of today say that the culture becomes from nations that do not exist now (Babylonians,Sumerians,Egyptians) and not from Greek nation. The world bosses don't have to do anything (only good words for a nation who died and that's all, the globalization is free from the "problematic" past...).

If the Greeks, Albanians, Serbs, Bulgarians, Makedonians and Romanians hadn't defend themselves for centuries and guard the South-East European ''gates'' properly (this included millions of human lives sacrificed for more than 1000 years and lots of wealth: gold, crops, wine, honey, wool, cattles, etc. robbed out of all these countries by the Turks) then the West Europeans would have spoken Turkiesh and would have prayed in moskees, read the Coran being muslims and not Christians nowdays

There was no mention of a separate "macedonian" ethnicity up until the 19th century.
You discredit the Austrians the Hungarians the Russians the Spanish,the Italian states etc. (see siege of Vienna by the turks for example or the naval battle of Lepanto)
The Turks were not stopped in the Balkans but further north.Their naval superiority sunk not because of any balkan ethnicity (although many Greeks were sailors to west powers in the middle ages)

There is no analogy between ancient Greeks and ancient Egyptians. The ancient Egyptians didn't speak Arabic like the Greeks still speak Greek.

what i get from this video, is that our cultures are intermeshed. remember that the greeks populated what is now know as turkey, antolia, etx. and hte turks were nomadic tribes. thousands of years living within one another, same blood, although some will vehemently oppose that last statement. it is politics and government that creates the hatred. prior to Attaturk we lived- that is to say-the common people lived in peace.
