PS: when you run into them they will usually follow you because the engine noise is like an attracter to them. An old friend had to bail the tractor (threw in neutral first) and as long as the tractor was still running (about 22 hours till it ran out of fuel) the bees would not quit swarming around the tractor. It was probably about 20' from the hive when he bailed. After the tractor died they left.
For the bees, if you are likely to hit them, wear layers of light cool clothing (pants also) so you don't melt and either keep a bee hat on or very near by. Don't trap in a bee/or bees putting it on though because you will never out run them with a bee in your bonnet. lol
I have had to leave tractors because of bees and hornets. I love my bush hog so much, but hate sharpening those blades. The John Deere people made that thing tough enough with heavy guage steel and I wish they had put more of that into their tractor. The floor board is too thin on the tractor.
Not much you can do about bee's. Its kind of hard too just run

Where did you get your Yanmar from and do you like it? Looks like it's a UTDA certified Yanmar...

@231MasseyFerguson it was purchased from Fredricks Tractor in Alabama. It is UTDA certified.
