hey nice video and the a340 is sucidal plane its underpowered for sure but yet they use it on long haul flights im gald i used air jamaica a321 when coming to america lol my uncle said he came on the a340 he was amazed on how muc space but said it toke a while before they toke off he thought it was going into the water im telling u airbus needs to stop selling those aircraft or fit them with a good powerful engine

nice work, but there is always a but which this time was your too fast rotation. it seemed as that you rotated up to 15 degrees or whatever in less than two second.

you are supposed to rotate about 3 to 5 degrees a second and retract your gear as soon as you have a positive climb.

it seemed to have had a too fast rotation as well as a very late gear retraction.

you need to trim the aircraft for takeoff, and apply the correct amount of flaps, the runway is short after all, look at my video with the 747 taking off from manley

I have the project opensky a340. I have been experimenting with the flap settings, and my plane starts to rotate at about 189 w/ no flaps, but it doesnt get up in time. I am going to keep on trying.

Airbus aircraft like the a340 aren't trimmed manually, they have an automatic trim system.

I can not get my Air Jamaica a340 to take off in time. It always goes into the water when I take off at MKJP and MKJS in FSX. (sigh)

you probably need to adjust the fuel and payload.. its normally 65000 pounds over max allowable,,.. ower it.. and ul take off twice as fast
