Great job apart from the caged part you show at the end of the video. I spotted wire flooring and guinea-pigs should never live in a wire floor cage. It's abig no-no for them. Check out some of those expert websites out there and you'll be able to read up on the details.

That is one big cage!! it is awesome, i have 2 guineas Lily, and Daisy they just met yesterday and they are popcorning all ova' the place lol!! By the way do you have bedding any where? It is good for them. you should put some in in a little spot or something :)

you wrap up the blankets, and open them and shake them off in the yard, or bin. then you wash them. most people put a layer of newpspaper and then towels down underneath. Wash the towels when you clean it out, and change the newspaper :) xx

I know what acronyms mean. You dont have to do that though. Umm I dont own a guinea pig though. I have a hamster but it was like a metal ramp already rused to the top part I think. But you have to get a cage where they have edleast 10 scaure feet a running room. And a little hiding area and for sleep and hay and wheet grass avalible at all times. Make sure the water despenser thing (XD!) is clean, you can use a cotton swab. And put uncooked rice in to clean out the whole bottle.

Nope not at all. I hate the smell from fleece and all the laundry it involves. fleece is great for a small number of pigs. the second story is a pain.

I would recommend it. I use it too.. it is very easy to clean (vacuum every day, wash fleece twice a week) and it's VERY comfy to lie on.

Well we do have central heat and air so they are as comfortable as we are. We keep the heat on 70F.

BTW Nazzanator, I use heat/kiln dried pine shavings from my local feedstore. They are perfectly safe for the pigs. Cedar or anything not kiln dried is bad.

It depends on how many pigs you have. I have 10 and went back to shavings recently. After we move and settle down, I am thinking of doing half and half. Making a 'bedroom' area of fleece and the rest shavings. I am still pondering it.

You shouldn't put shavings near guinea pigs. The smell of the shavings can make them sick. How much did the cage cot? Isn't it hard to clan all of the bedding?

I love the cage set up. I have a C&C cage that I built and it had a ramp but i'm doing some remodelign of their cage. Is it easier for you to use the fleece than bedding? I tried fleece but it just smelled up my appt! I think i was doing something wrong
