Kenny is the smoothest flatpicker out there...nobody makes it look easier. He's played since he was a tyke. "Song for Emily" is my favorite Kinny original. God Bless you and Amanda!
I played with Kenny and Sonny when they were first stated out. They would come down from Indiana with their Dad and we would play at my Grandpa's house and locally. They always played, "Sweet Georgia Brown." Sonny could bring tears to your eyes on, "Spinning Wheel," which was my Grandpa's favorite. Kenny was the smoothest Guitar player I ever heard. Im really proud for these guys. Good People.
@JHelmet you are correct...Kenny is probably the smoothest guitar player in the business. I saw him Friday March the 19th. They had a Lonesome River Band Reunion. Sammy Shelor, Ronnie Bowman, Don Rigsby and Kenny Smith. That was an awesome show. It was like they never split up. Mind blowing. It was by far the best live show I've ever watched
There's good player's....Then there's the Best......Kenny Smith....

In a wold that truly honors the most skillful, Kenny is a guitar god. A worthy successor to Roy Clark.
