you r a very smart girl and I applaud you for that. Would be nice to touch base with you and exchange ideas if you are interested and see what we can do about investing in Liberia.
Damit U Fine O I never ever saw a non Liberian talk like one before. Even one of my friends can do all the other accents of the world but never can he do a Liberian accent. Hahaha. This is beyond epic. And you're very smart, so nice of you to speak truth about Liberia. Thank you Gorgeous.

magnifik87 I think you are out of your mind to give your life to a country that will never allow you to obtain citizenship and will not even allow you to own property in your own name. Liberia is a racist country, it will take whatever you give to it and leave you with nothing.
@Tadgh78 well, Im not going to war for Liberia and Im not getting shot while in office, so Im not really giving my life for Liberia ^^. Besides, everything is what you make of it. LIberia is not a racist country but it has a racist constitution, and one day it will have to change and Im all for it to be changed, but RIGHT NOW, it shouldn't change if one wants to be totally honest in seeking what is best for the country, Liberia needs a middle class of Liberians, not an imported one :)
@magnifik87 What I said was that you are giving your life "to" to Liberia not "for" it. If you are intending on spending the rest of your life in Liberia and having children there then in my opinion you certainly are giving your life "to" Liberia. Btw if you are intending on having children in Liberia, presumably they will be half-cast and not full Negroes. How will they be viewed by the Liberian constitution? Will they be second class citizens in their own country?
@Tadgh78 ON the other hand, I beg to differ. The reason for which Liberia choosed not to grant none blacks citizenship is due to the history of slavery. Liberia was formed by both AA's and the natives. However, the natives had never had the chance to ruled their own country rather the AA's who oppresed, suppresed, ortracised, and marginalized the natives for 145yrs. They initially placed that clause in our constitution for their own selfish gain. Now, it appeared to be in the natives interest.
@Tadgh78 We will never allowed none blacks to gain Liberian citizenship and never allow all blacks to gain Liberian citizenship. Not even all AA's. This is becuase of what we went through as a people when our ancessters first made the mistake of allowing AA's to join them in forming Liberia. The Europeans recentently brought this issue of none blacks getting citizenship up with our president and she told them it was incribed in our constitution by the founders of Liberia. That means leave us!
@vaimende Thank you for the insult but on the contrary, you are very wrong. The country I currently live in offered me every riught to obtain a citizenship but I choose not to for now. Obtaining permenent resident statutes is enougth. I valued and cherished my Liberian citizenhip and will never trade it for another. Though it is a country in West Africa, however, it has the capacity to built any Western nation on the planet 10times no matter the cost. Reason? its abundence and infinite wealth.
hey girl! i am a liberian living in sweden västerhaninge just 5 mins drive to stockholm. you really have a brilliant mind. I respect you for that. Be blessed and let God bless you and your family. keep on ur good work.
God bless you my geh. I wish more Liberians loved Liberia the way you do. You're an inspriation to those of us who do, and hopefully to some who don't.
We have oil, iron ore, gold, diamonds, rubber, timber, gold, agri potential, etc. But for now, I think we should only export minerals like iron ore, gold, diamonds and oil. As for timber, oil palm, rubber, cocoa, coffee, rice, fruits, vege, fishries, etc, they all should be porcess in Liberia for export. Foreigners must not be allow to open stores in Liberia except they partner with a Liberian business person and grant them 55% ownership of that business. No land and citizenship for foreigners.
"Because we don't have.. look at me am looking at my self as a Liberian" You sure are a Liberian from the soul, You sound like and are concern about Liberia more then most Liberians.
I hear you sister. I honestly think the government is more at fault than the foreign investors. Altering the constitution would benefit Liberia by giving foreign investors more incentives to stay and create competition BUT unless the cycle of corruption is disrupted, things will continue as usual. The Liberian government is all the people know and it has pimped the Liberian people to the point that they've become addicted to abuse. Revamp the old systems or it will always be business as usual.
you really serve as a inspiration to me,my parents are from liberia and i neevr been there but i also feel very passionate about going back home and helping out.
I STRONGLY AGREED WITH EVERY SINGLE POINTS U MADE IN THIS VIDEO. U SPOKE THE TRUTH AND IF PEOPLE THOUGHT YOU WERE BIASED THEN THEY NEED TO LOOK THEM SELF IN A MIRROR. MY DAD WORK IN THE GOVERNMENT BACK HOME, HE CAME TO THE U.S LAST MONTH AND I REMEMBER HE TELLING ME THAT IF YOU NOT OF AFRICAN DESCENT, U COULDN'T OWN LAND OR BECOME A CITIZEN. WE HAD A HUGE ARGUMENT OVER THAT. BECAUSE I DIDN'T AGREED WITH THAT LAW. BUT I UNDERSTOOD WHY THEY MADE THAT LAW THOUGH. THEY DON'T WANT ANOTHER FIRESTONE
Get on facebook magnifik87 and lets sound the alarm! lets reawaken the minds of our people both old and young that they may know whats at stick in Liberia if we all don't rise up and take hold of our country. Not only do we have these freekin Labanese people to deal with, the Chinese and Indians have also come on board, ready to exploit and take what is not even offer to them in their own country. But wait, they have some of us to deal with. Keep this up. I'm from Buchanan, Grand Bassa County...
I love most of the points you rised fine geh. I think the time has come that all well meaning Liberians rise up and claim our country back. We the generation of this age are well informed and are getting ready to head back home. The Labanese should get ready becuase we will kick them out. I don't care what anyone says. One thing I do know is that the rights and oppertunities we present them in Liberia will never be given to us had we gone to Labanon to live. They just think we're stuppid. Wait..
Most of the Liberian returning are just going to get government Job and getting pay twice what the were being paid in the USA. Others go there because they want personal gain instead of helping to develop the country. Maybe one out of 100 returning is there to help the people. It a shame how our nearby country laugh at us and says how we are not compare to them. The few Liberian in the USA are not even serious about education or setting higher goals. Why is the President making lebanese citizen
If Lebanese were able to become citizens in Liberia. Black Liberians will be second class citizens to them. Already in the "past" it was harder for Liberians than Lebanese ppl to set up a business in Liberia.
I know that as a fact. Liberia isn't the only country to have that rule against non-black foreigners. In Ghana you have to have a Ghanaian business partner or shareholder in your business to set up a business. And Ghana one of the fastest developing countries.

I know exactly what you mean, I was in Liberia in 2006 went back in 2009 and a huge difference, I mean things are getting done that's true but we're still a ways away from the Sweet Land of Liberty as we knew it. I talk about regulations I will use the example you used in your videos about the Chinese building roads the government can have a rule which states that a certain percentage of your employees have to be Liberians I mean little things like that could make a difference I think.
@rchineh i agree and im not evan saying most of them should be liberian, evan if its just 10 per cent that are liberian then thats cool, afterall im nopt just gonna sit here and say employ any random liberian ragardless of how good they are, but there will definately be a few liberians who could help.
Difficult I agree but not impossible, I'm a Liberian and left during the war and I've been back several times and I don't think we can do it in isolation.
@rchineh In the two years I was away 2008-2010 they made real progress, I mean, buildings are popping up everywhere, ria highway is now populated for real and Mittal signed the contract 2007 right? Its not impossible to make business as a foreigner in Liberia, its just harder, but still all the profits are flown out the window going back to countries across the world, so why shud not Liberians earn dollars from this? the only way right now beside taxes is 4 individuals to lease their land! :)
You make some valid points in this video but I think the focus should be placed more on "Regulating Investors" to make sure Liberia and Liberians are not prey on by them (foreign or domestic).
@rchineh thnx for ur comment. It could be one way of doing it but considering the fragile state the govt is in I would find that difficult to implement. This way would be easier for now.
Haha I think it's so cool how you have a thicker accent than some people I know that were born in Liberia...I think that you have an interesting opinion on the topic. Girlfriend, I just found your awesome Liberian You Tube videos!
You my sista oh!
And I know you love Liberia.
And I have total respect for you girl.
But I cannot agree with Article 27 (b).
Every part of Article 27 (b) is demeaning to Liberians and is outright Racist and Prejudice.
It's even prejudiced against Liberians!
Perhaps I can make a video for you to share how your concerns are not actually addressed by Article 27 (b) and in fact encouraged by it.
...you'll like my accent.
