I think what dialects of English (in the US) are like and that of Japanese are different.
To me, different dialects of Japanese sound like foreign language. They have different word, not only different accents and intonation.
On the other hand, I think dialects of English is more about accents. Grammar is basically the same, right? But as you say, you have different words for the same thing depending on where you live.
Not entirely true. In the American South (states like Georgia and South Carolina) Grammar doesn't seem to exist. For example, using words that don't exist ain't.
We don't use strange sentence structures, and yes we use ain't. but it's in the dictionary so take that! The most you will see that is strange is our "drawl" which puts emphasis in a different place causing a slightly different pronunciation, and the grammatically incorrect punctuation of "y'all" (i.e. ya'll). I also get really annoyed by people saying "I don't got any..." but that tends to be more stereotypical of southern blacks.
That's not like Alabama or Georgia. I have lived in the South my entire life and it's not NEARLY as bad as you exaggerated it to be. Maybe the people you've had encounters with just happen to be extremely uneducated, but the entire south is not the way you describe it.
Love your Chicago accent! Hahah. I never really realized there was a "Hawaii-ben" before. Thanks for educating me! I laughed out loud when you were imitating that pesky "th" sound XD Good news for 日本人 indeed :)
dude omgg teach me japanese ;( PLEASE. ive tried EVERYTHING. lol. no, i havent just been sitting, watching anime with english subtitles. ;( its hard. haha, but... your vids are kawaii ;D i mean, i get SOME of it. but i need help ;( idk what else to do, i cant get to any classes her on the island ;/ im in Naha, Okinawa :(

I think I've heard broke da mouth. My parents lived in Hawaii and spoke it, and I'm hapa haole. Otherwise, the only Pigeon English I know is from watching 'The Best of DeLima TOO' throughout my childhood. :D
Broke da mouth is an old slang... Hear it in the rural areas every now and then.. Another useful one is "bu"「ブ」 or "brah"「ブラ」 Bu/brah ということは「君」ということです。

Because of the multiple ethnicities, loan words are freely adopted & crosses over into the various pure foreign languages. The ethnic Japanese have thrown some of their vocabulary into the pidgin mix. NeNe comes from nemuru - to sleep. Pidgin have/has adopted the expressession "nee?" into the end of the sentence to imply "don't you agree?" Here you say "No?" at the end of sentences with the meaning "don't you agree?". And it seems like each ethinic group and each generation has their own way of speaking.
