  • President Bush was NOT allowed to pre-empt the (dereliction of duty) efforts of useless Mayor Nagin and dip shit Governor Blanco. Also, by the time those morons 'allowed' the feds to help, it was impossible to get supplies, etc. to desperate residents there because of conditions and impassable roads. Those dummies were warned about Katrina's severity and went into a massive 'dithering' mode.

  • Bobby "Piyush" Jindal speech after Obama's speech was weak, unclear and lame! I feel sorry for the people of Louisiana! They should be fucking protesting in the streets! Residents of New Orleans should be outraged by this son of a bitch, especially black people from New Orleans! Jindal is denying people by turning down the stimulus package. How the hell did this SADIST get elected?

Jindal is a reDUMBplican, yes I said it!

    DUMB + REPUBLICAN = reDUMBplican

  • Bush did this.

  • If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it?

    Amos 3:6

  • Katrina was a natural disaster. The local and state government was vastly unprepared and unqualified to react. The Federal Government was not prepared for a State and Local Government to be so incompetent. The Feds tried to pick up the pieces at the last minute but it was too late. The Democrats do what politicians do and blame everything on their enemies, the Republicans. It worked because of the lack of critical thought people have when politics is involved. Mother nature is not a Republican.

  • be sure to check out my response video - Help Is Coming... which was the first film to be shot after the Hurrican

  • great place to live...under sea level

  • Lil bush is motherfucker 1200 drowned 3500 murdered, 20,000 severe wounded

  • Thatwas a shock to alot of peole in a Ohio. Are hearts goes out to those you went threw heel of hurricane Katrinea.

  • Remember we all or just a mist in the air. and this could happen anywhere God rules not the white man although some walk the earth like they have the power like God. but in one blink we all or nothing we all or renting God's space and we are all due 4 eviction. so don't think this is the end but it is near...

  • This comment is two all that had bad views about the people of New Orleans. before you comment on something you should no the history of the place and the people. yes I'm from New Orleans and I was a taxpayer and have been one for a very long time. I had 2jobs before Katrina so we all or not just poor black and on welfare and we all were not looking for hand outs just simple help and understanding. but some r just to ignorant to see or no this.

  • Very educational. BRAVO!

  • Nouvelle-orléans a été échouée par le gouvernement de ville surtout qui arrive être des noirs. ...Hope ils ont de meilleurs projets la prochaine fois environ.

  • the death´s your soldiers are ccausing in Irak are much more higher...

  • Irak?

    you mean Iraq xD

  • vilin - Irak is Spanish for 'Iraq', so yes he/she does mean 'Irak'

  • Can't believe this really happened. Makes you think.

  • u guys all gotta learn not to be racists

  • Its really sad thinking about all the people who were lost during this hurricane. It is really terrible... 5/5

  • If you could choose, would you rather that blacks or whites or latinos got hit by natural disasters?

  • I'd rather people like YOU get hit by natural disasters.

oh, my bad... you ARE a natural disaster.

  • Im from Florida and dealt with hurricanes every year. Not once did any of us stand around like most of these people did waiting for a hand out. Not one of t hese fuckers did a god damn thing for them selves. That place was a shit hole anyway.

  • Educate yourself. New Orleans survived the hurricane. It was the federal flood that destroyed the city. Do you know what is left after things sit in toxic flood waters for a month? Not much. People like you are what is wrong with this country. You sit in your comfy room and judge the suffering. What a big man you are!

  • I agree, educate yourself...in addition...

Florida is the shithole! Full of retired bad drivers and assholes like you. New Orleans is the jewel of the South (where there aren't many jewels), full of jazz, culture, food, history...what do you have? Disneyland?

  • niggas deserved it god wills all

  • ur freaking ignorant.

  • kennedy27126, so I guess it's god's will that you're a dumbass.

  • how long did it take you to come up with that?

    Asshole

  • I live in the New Orleans area. Like the video says, you have to see the neighborhoods first hand to see how bad they are even after nearly 2 years since the storm. One thing I don't like about the media coverage is the number of stories concentrating on the Lower 9th Ward. Many neighborhoods were just as devastated, including Lakeview and Gentilly. Right across from the Lower 9th Ward in St. Bernard Parish (County) in which which EVERY home in the parish sustained flood damage...EVERY house.

  • Right now, as I blog this, I am watching the Category 5 storm (like Katrina) approach Oman and Dubai. They have evidently taken head as to the danger, because I saw on the news where there were so many leaving at the airport.

  • I lived in NO about ten yrs ago, and could see this all coming even then. The local and state govt are given about a $100 million a year to maintain these levees and drainage systems, and it all goes right into the politician's pockets. Anyone who hasn't spent any time there (more than just a wks vacation) can't really understand, and those who've lived their whole lives there think its normal. Its like living in Columbia, the corruption runs so deep.

  • This is a bog shocker...i dont care if pple think that it was there fault that they built there huse close to water...no matter what it is still a big epdemic pple still died.

  • it was a living hell staying in the battlefield inn in mississippi for 2 weeks .i'm one of the lucky ones cuz when i got home,it wasn't off the foundation or anything.i was too young to understand back the.i think i still am now.i dunno.all i know was that no one got any happier after that hurricane.

  • black's go back to Afrika then you will be safe

  • and 4 the assholes who say they should move because of sea level tell that to new york all the states in tornado ally san francisco etc so stfu with that stupid shit because all the states i named can be fucked by mother nature 1 way or another u do the research but u know what it is. people like u say shit like that because it havent happened to u but if ur daughter or mother was found 23 miles from your house

  • u would think different about all this thats just like the rappers who glorify murder but when some 1 close 2 them die they wanna find god and feel a little different about what they say and feel

  • do not agree new orleans lost 1400 people and still are finding bodies do u understand that? Can u comprehend the devastation caused by this storm. Just because u dont hear it on t.v. doesnt mean anything i live down here and there finding bodies like 1 body a month so the attention is well deserved

  • My family lives down there and yeah it's really bad. When we went there a few months afterwards I was in tears. We went there recently and still, houses are deserted, houses, plants, and roads destroyed.

  • The city was below sea level and it flooded. What a freaking shock. The people of NO elected a racist incompetent and he screwed up and they elected him again. People get the kind of leadership they deserve.

  • i was there too... it is a shame how the place still looks like hell... and we are spending billions to help other countries..... WTF

  • wow people really don't like being smacked in the face

maybe i'm alone in liking this video

  • I went on a trip to help out in New Orleans and Biloxi. I was disturbed by both but ESPECIALLY disturbed by the fact that New Orleans gets all the attention of media and help crews while Biloxi still remains destroyed far worse than New Orleans and could use some more help than it is getting.

  • i was in hurricane katrina. my house got like destroyed. it sucked.

  • i read once; i don't remember the details; but this isn't the first time the black community in new orleans was flooded... the last time this happened the (white) community broke the dam to ensure theirs wouldn't flood as well. back in those days it wasn't much of a crime of course.

  • That's incorrect. It's a rumor that the city flooded the parish of St. Bernard to save it during Hurricane Betsy; however, this is not true. And it wasn't for racial reasons either. St. Bernard was predominantly white.

  • I read once, I don't remember the details, that what you just said is complete and utter bullshit.

  • okay: you build your house that close to the water, wh at do you expect, it will never rain nor flood? oh also, nice that the negro locals shot at the rescue helicopters. talk about martial law

  • just my opinion...they should move everyone out and let the missippi take back its territory..levies allways fail its just a matter of time..its below sea level!!!!

  • Dams and levies don't prevent floods, they just take a bunch of small floods and turn them into one big flood.

  • supersayintrunks!?!? wtf did your mom smoke when you were born?? the levi's broke. thats what flooded them. most of the people there had no cars to get away + it is their homes they're not gonna up and leave it in a matter of days/hours without serious consideration. ALSO! its not common sense you dip shit, they had controlled the floods with the levi's but the levi's broke! your so conceded be a bit more grateful you didn't have to go through what they did.

  • and all this is becuse global warming

  • not nesasarrily

  • + a government that denies the existence of global warming and puts his priorities in the destruction of other nations rather than the construction of it's own.

  • okay, Fiberawptic, if youre house got hit by hurricane and everything you had was gone, how the fuck would you feel? its CARING, so get a fucking soul and appreicate what you have.

  • know what? fuck new orleans the mississippi gulf coast got hit a hell of a lot worse then new orleans did and unlike new orleans we were smart and got out...you live in a fucking bowl and when it rains a little bit it starts to fucking flood use common sense here people

  • You say its the governments fault then go and re-elect the same mayor that could not even get drivers into school buses and turned down amtrack ... why? because he wasnt white... better to re-elect the man that did this to you than a white man right..lmao

  • OMG I FEEL SO SOWWY FOR THEM ;-(

  • Oh god, you people really need to get over katrina. Not that many died, just some property loss. Stop whining and get the fuck over it.

  • Are you fucking kidding me? 1,836 people died. Making Katrina the most deadliest hurricane to hit the U.S. If people don't get over it, its not your place to tell them to get over it.

  • where did you get your highly inflated 1,836

number? More people died when wilma hit than

when katrina hit. 253 more or do you have another

    blown up figure?

  • Rather than investing billions of dollars in a war OF terror, the money could get used to help the needy such as the ones in New Orleans. Plenty of money, bad management.

  • Apparently, you narrow minded people have never been to New Orleans. New Orleans is the most accepting, open-minded, laid back, fun loving city in the world. If you've been there even once, you won't want to leave. Sure, people shouldn't have stayed, but they did, and it's appauling to see you people insult them when they diserve nothing less than your undying prayers.

  • I'm from Biloxi (you know where the hurricane actually hit and a ton more people died), but nobody cares to put anything about us on any news sites. I Wonder why? Oh ya, because we are white

  • mrdcreeping16 - Our project is focused on New Orleans because this is where we live and work. We realized the importance of documenting our own city. Rather than complain, why don't you produce your own work and post it on You Tube?

  • We did as a matter of fact and all we got was people complaining about new orleans so i thought i would return the favor.

  • Why don't you share with all of us the project you produced so we can see what you're talking about?

  • So white people didn't report news about white people?

  • complete proof that welfare programs cripple any shot of critical thinking.

  • i agree 100% , but thats not politically correct, its just correct.

  • you rich folks need to shut up. people who were living in this neighborhood could not move because they were too poor. the people who did have money, most of them left but the people who could not afford to leave stayed. also part of it is the government who did not take enough precautions to evacuate.

  • you say because this people in new Orleans were to poor, they didn't look like they were starving to me.we had a hurricane that hit in Cancun Mexico that destroyed our city and we rebuild our won city with no government help,do a drug test on the people of Cancun and drug test the people of new Orleans and you will understand why you people have no excuse but to take some responsibility for what happen there.

  • Orleans was "f"ed from the start, it a city port... that is lower than sea level. did no one get the logic in that

  • why dont they just move

  • you're fucking simple.

  • What a shame the Democrat governor and mayor couldn't do their jobs right. Now the government is supposed to stop hurricanes and tornadoes. This is what the entitlement mentality leads to.

  • holy shit

  • I feel bad so many black people died. Hopefully there are more F-5 tornados that f*ck up trailer trash land. That evens things out white devils.

  • wow, youre right . no white people died during katrina or after. mother nature sure is racist.

  • so sad

  • Great to read all the comments from enlighted people about Katrina.President Bush could of done a better job but the GOVERNOR and Mayor NAGIN deserve the blame for Katrina's aftermath.

  • ninth ward...look at all those demolished crack houses...

  • new orleans is a test for this country. a test for fairness and justice. and we as an nation failed.

  • OK I've got a question...

WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO BUILD ON LAND THAT IS BELOW SEA LEVEL? You know it's going to flood again. How date the mayor of New Orleans come on TV and say... "We are going to rebuild". I hate politicians valuing their jobs over the safety of others.

  • so sad

too bad the gov.t doesn't care.

    9/11 was an inside job.

  • new orleans was a test of fairness and justice for the people of this country and we failed.

  • I can't feel sorry for people who decided to live 10 feet below sea level, knew about it, and still stayed.

  • why would our own government kill themselves?....

  • because everyone who lived in that region happened to be poor. it's a good thing for the economy.

  • 20 years ago I was reading my my highschool textbook that said new orleans was disaster waiting to happen

  • I learned that too in my environmental studies class

  • There will be more Hurricanes. So next time when you get a Hurricane warning... MOOOOVEEE YOUR AASSSSSSSSSESS.

  • I hope you understand that you can only move your asssssssssssesss IF, you have transportation or someone to give you a ride. Now once you arrive to another location, you need MONEY to pay for shelter unless you are in fact---in a shelter. There were many people who made it out of the storms path who ended up living in WalMart and Waffle House parking lots because they made it to Baton Rouge but couldn't afford or get in a motel room. It's not easy to leave just because you want to or need to.

  • Thank you!!

  • And why didn't the BLACK Mayor use the schoolbuses to evacuate people. He's a real genius and should get punished for his stupidity.

  • Okay then, walk maybe 20 miles too a safe area and wait, and wait for government support.

OH MY GOD WHAT, I'M TOO FUCKING FAT TO WALK... *HUH*... *HUH*...

  • YEAH! or just step into your CLOSET and get your ass to the land of NARNIA.

You are so full of good ideas !!

  • It was the Orleans Levee Board's responsibility to oversee the levees. I don't believe Bush sat on the Orleans Levee Board before Katrina hit, but plenty of wasteful Democrats were on the board, misspending critical funds that could've been used to repair and reinforce the levees. Facts are stubborn things.

Search for "Is the Orleans Levee Board doing its job?" for a great NBC News exposé of this subject.

  • Hurricane Katrina ripped through New Orleans ?

  • Are you seriously asking this question?

If you are..it really didn't rip through New Orleans, it ripped through Mississippi and Slidell the most.

But New Orleans did get the hurricane, but the actual damage was from the levees breaking. If they hadn't New Orleans would have been fine.

  • yup

  • you fucking nerds learn to stop hating, not my fault you fucks chose to live in your basement. you fuckers know what sunlight is? or what a girl is? shut the fuck up and stop saying hate messages

  • I've heard of sunlight... only rumors though.

  • you have been ignored coz you re black, simple fact!

  • I also think besides it being the black and white issue, more importantly,it's an issue of rich and poor. If it had happened in a poor white area, maybe the attention would have been a fraction better. If you ain't rich in the US, you ain't shit, not to the politicians anyway.

  • Hes just angry b/c KFC is gone.

  • When Katrina was passing over my city in Florida, we didnt know the hurricane will be that dangerous.

  • never really had much faith in america or her government. i thought they were the same.

i do not wish people to die for this is a great tragedy. my family and friends have been directly affected by it. the greatest tragedy of all is the finger pointing that goes on post catastrophe. this will stop when...

    nevermind, i blame my self.

  • I have survived many floods. I have never asked for nor recieved government money or help. It is my governments job to govern- It is my job to help myself. I can say that I have actually refused help but I had never shot at anyone who tried.

  • funny that europeans dont donate when america has these things happen but americans are first to donate when europe has problems (ie: heatwave).

  • USA NOT IN KYOTHO? FUCK IN KATRINA!!!!!!!! (from Brazilian Man)

  • apparently Hurricane Katrina only hit New Orleans .

I hate to inform people Nawlins got hit with water from Katrina . Katrina destroyed Mississippi's coast all together but all you hear of is NO.

and Fucking politicians had nothing to do with it.

Lower ninth ward was a shit hole before , and it will go back to being the same .

  • You don't know what you're talking about

  • Shame on Bush.

    Shame on every Republican!

Where did all that help money go?

    WHERE?

    Those people need help.

This should make every American mad!

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Where's the local government?

  • hahaha, you bitch, what did you do to help them yourself? Those conservative republican churchgoers you accuse so vocally, left their lives, and went to help, for free. Like they always do. Now kindly piss off you hypocritical bitch.

  • Good thing you have no idea of the constitutional seperation of powers between the states and fed. government. Why don't you go take a civics and government course and learn why the only thing that coud be done was for money to be allocated to the local governments and at that point it is the local governments responsibility to distribute it. Not the Federal government. Not to mention the President cannot take over the National guard in peacetimes its the Governors job to do that.

  • through the hands of Nagins people...

  • Best thing that ever happened to america.

  • lol yes!

  • go fuck urself punk ass

  • Thats crap

  • Don't worry,bush will take care of everything.What a laugh!

  • Wahey for england.

  • bush sucks

  • isn't this telling us something? the world is in danger with something?

  • why rebuild in orleans if it is porbable to happen again? It is on low land and so close to ocean.

  • Because it's where I was born and raised you ass. And no..I don't live in the city but the burbs which suffered water damage as well. And I didn't wait for the government to get my house back in order. I used my own savings. Guess you live in a bunker where no disasters happen. And for everyone's info...the hurricane never made it flood, it was the piss poor construction of the levees that our great federal government built. So much for my tax money.

  • so the water had nothing to do with the flood ?

Are you insane. just so happened that the levees broke on the day one of the biggest slowest moving hurricanes blew on land in you neighboring state.

you can't hold back the largest river in n america forever . It's been trying to swallow NO for ever due to its natural flow ...

  • i just got back from nawlins a month ago...there were so many factors that were against all of the people living in teh ninth ward. the levees broke because of all the pressure, it SHOULD have held...and the lower ninth ward is surrounded by not only the mississippi, but the lake, and by the gulf....

  • all those lazy southerners just sitting around crying boo hoo hoo they arent working pick up the trash put it in the superdome(?) parking lot and force the governments to take notice and do something about it and stop playing the victim and DO something 20,ooo people dumping 2 year old garbage in a parking lot will get the government to notice you, tace action

  • New orleans should not b where it is. New orleans should b apart of the sea. New orleans is like building a city in a bath and turning on the taps. America is a big country and has loads of money they should move New orleans to a highing a safer place and even call the new city new new orleans.

  • Metaphor meets reality: millions watched as 75,000 "victims" stood up to their bungholes in water, legs not to be seen (or used). Who was holding the saw that excised all those legs negating their motility? The answer is shocking; it was not GW, it was not KB, nor was it RN -- the answer lies in a truism: we are where we are as a result of the choices we make.

  • all we can do is pray to god.

  • sobb sobb!:(

  • video makes u think

  • Clinton put money aside to upgrade the levies, Bush spent the money to fight an unjust war.

    God help us all

  • May God help you you frickin' moron. That disaster was years in the making and local politicians should bear the brunt of the blame. Obviously you are a leftist Bush hater and will place the blame on him for everything you can.

  • The handling of the crisis was a disgrace. Hundreds of locals were still in jails scattered all over the South, months later, who had never even been charged with any offence, cos all the paperwork was destroyed in a flooded basement. Many of them did not know what they were in jail for! Guilty of being poor in a divided society...

  • FEMA was too busy building prisons, and didn't have the time or money to help Americans, for shame.

  • but whta happened to the victims that actually survived??? and yes this is really sad no1 deserves this...why the poor and the goods always gotta die young or be victims of everythin?

  • yup i was a victom,, lost my home, parish, everything. if u have allstate, u are not in good hands. thats all i can say. it was hard.

  • they did not deserve it but in fairness, look at all the innocent killed in Iraq at the hands of USA

  • It's official. We can all stop trying to "keep the black man down" - they're doing it themselves now. :)

  • What?? New Orleans wasn't one city by the stupid storm! Come on!! Perry1961 "you would not know how to evacuate if a hurricane like katrina came your way." don't an heartless person!!

  • I must say what you said about those people deserving it is completely and utterly wrong. There is nothing 1 city of people can do to deserve that unless they were like some die hard evil people and i doubt they were so for saying that comment i think u should search yourself and see what you deserve for saying that man. Maybe your house needs to end up somewhere in the Atlantic ocean.

  • Our government is garbage... Because they were poor black people it took what 5 days to reach them and get aid?! Yet we are in Southeast Asia, a popular destination of the rich, the next day. This countries priorities are a joke we will spend billions for a snowball-effect war that will last for many many more years, yet cut funding for disease control. I have lost faith and love of this country...

  • Right, chaos.N.O. is the second highest crime rate city in the United States. What do you expect? Criminals don't care what situation you are in, they will do what they do.America...poor? HAHA more like stupid if anything else but poor? I don't care what country you are from I can guarantee our country is richer.

  • All of these people saying America isn't that great is naive.Ok,this could have been prevented and was taken care of poorly but people mess up.Infact, it was taken care of so poorly some people think it was a conspiracy. And to the one who said we deserved it, shame on you.You have no idea the pain we got from this storm and NO ONE deserves that.Families were split apart, children were lost, women were raped, businesses were ripped off, people were shot in the middle of the street.

  • They deserved it...

And if everything would come back at the USA

    that's just the beggining

    In your face USA

  • yeah that means a lot, especially coming from somebody from Brazil

  • "They deserved it?" I hope you're talking about the U.S. rather than the individuals that drowned. You're right about one thing, though, America has done a lot of bad shit all over the world it it will come back. "Chickens coming home to roost," as Malcolm X said.

  • I am sure that statistically you are just a 15 year old boy who lives at home with nothing to do but post cutting remarks, but it is a shame that you have yet to live and see the horrors in your own country. Perhaps when you have discovered something adults refer to as perspective, you may be a little more respectful. Good luck to you till then FlavinBrasil.

  • You are so ignorant. How in the world could you possibly say that ANYONE deserves what happened to these people??? There were helpless elderly, animals, and even BABIES (some newborn) who were homeless in a day's time because of this. And you commend it?? You are one sorry individual.

  • your country does have worse air pollution than us... dirty mother f**kers

  • Wasn't City of God about the slums of Brazil?

Seems you have enough things to hate in your own country.

    ciao.

  • ignorance

  • This Hurricane really shows how poor the real America actually is: Noone returns to their house, everybody steals from shops. I mean really, see it for yourself. Chaos.

  • I feel so bad!

  • Obviously there no god

  • Yes God exists, it is not for us to ask why things happen but to accept them and learn from them as well as help those in need.

  • From Tampa FL, many of our surrounding areas are at or slightly above sea level, That area was the absolute WORST for that storm to hit. Its a tragedy that many people simply couldnt evacuate in time. My condolences to all the families affected. All of us in the south dread the "Big One" , and that was it. Sad.

  • why don't you care about environmetnt and then, when happen such things you are amazed?

  • Damn i live in Biloxi Mississippi and i got 8 ft of water in my house but yea we are rebuilding and were coming back up and Fema is a load of shit Federal Emergancy My Ass btw THEY NEED TO TALK ABOUT MISSISSIPPI DUMBASSES WE HAD IT BAD TO YA NO!

  • terrible.

  • XTRA cash for Leevee upgrade was repeatedly requested & denied. The money they had was CUT. This is just another BUSH disaster. Too incompetent for words. STUPID

  • if i build my house on a volcano, is it the job of FEMA to make a new life for me when the eruption occurs?

  • i know n.o was hit so bad BUT so was cameron parish and there was NO houses standing! They don't even talk about how it effected us.And like n.o we still haven't gotten help.Don't understand what the hell femas problem is.i am still homeless and still waiting on them to help placement. Not far at all to n.o or cameron parish.Coming to get the fema trailers and through us out which mine caught on fire twice and i have a disable son.Fema can kiss my ass!

  • You are correct. Hurricane Rita was the forgotten storm. Fires in FEMA trailers have been common with fatalities. My family lived in one for 8 months due to Katrina. I wish you well.

  • Hurricane Rita is sadly not talked about. I don't understand it. Yes, FEMA is crap. I still displaced from St. Bernard & they are looking to kick us to the curb. I don't know where the hell they all want us to go. Can't they see nothing is livable for thousands of miles.

  • you're ignorant.

  • I m wondering would devastation will be so big if you had different houses. As I understand in America you build houses from wood, why you don t try with brick and concrete, that is usual material for houses in Bosnia

  • we got wooden Houses in sweden as well, but thats mainly cause..wood is something we got plenty of, so does america i guess,..but..when thinking of it..Bosnia got too :P i have freinds from Bosnia^^ and from the border countries

  • I was born and raised seven miles from new orleans. I lived in st.bernard parish, la the damage was a hell of a lot worse here than it was in orleans parish. I am so sick of new orleans always getting the limelight. What about the other places? What about mississippi? Screw N.O. It was a dangerous dirty place before the hurricane and its 20xs worse now! It needs to be burned down!

  • Why do they always say "New Orleans" or "Louisiana" its never Mississippi which the eye went threw my town

town. I have lost my house in Katrina and lost most of my family in it.

  • Because the white people didn't become savage animals like the blacks did. The whites also didn't blame their plight on the federal government. These "people" should get no aid, as there have been worse disasters (texas flood, earthquakes, chicago fire) and the people in those situations fixed it themselves.

  • you're not too bright. go eat your corn flakes.

  • yes it did, but New Orleans was most affected by it.

  • aww. I'm really sorry.

  • what about bay st louis, biloxi, waveland...?

the whole of beach blvd was destroyed. and years later (Today) cleanup and restoration continues at a SNAILS pace.

thx for posting this to raise awareness. people should think more about where their government funding is going.
