civics arent just made with turboed k24s in them, this one in particular was made with a d15 and its intended use was for good fuel economy for driving around town. A viper was intended for performance so its pretty amazing that a car like a civic can put a hurting on a super car.

But my only issue is that, well okay you can make those Honda's quick, and for little money. But..it's just not for me. I like speed, if I can't get 160mph, I'm just unhappy, even if I never bother to, I dunno call me weird. Also I love a VERY nice interior, gearbox, sound. Looks aren't everything, but those Honda's are just at the bottom end, with Geo Metro's and the like. But I won't ever doubt one at a drag strip, :). Man I think that think might run with my Kenne Bell Cobra.. amazing.
AllOutMugen, it's ironic when people like you make such assumptions, given the fact I've owned 3 Honda's all together, last one was a '97 Civic. All stock daily driver, why mess with it when I had my VR6 and Saab 2.0T at the time...
i agree.. i have a civic.. now i no there not fast cars but you can make them rather quick for little money.. but obviously if i had the choice between a fully kitted out civic or a viper ide choose the viper.. everyone would..
