okay, the fact that even Hennessey put it out with more power than advertised goes to show how Chevy has always been a top contender..looks and power have always put the Camaro on top, always answering with something better. My GT500 with a Kenne Bell Stage 3 will butt rape this Hennessy for a lot less money. The Cmaro is the ugliest turd on the road.
@454lilman A GT500 with a twin screw sech as a Whipple or Kenne Bell lack I have will suck the paint off that Hennessy so fast it will look like a piece of mylar blwoing down the track. Put 20 psi on the Hennessy with them hypereutectic pistons, a 10:1 CR and cast rods and see how long it lasts before it has windows in the block. The GT500 is fully forged and will last for years on 20 pounds of boost.

Bwahahahaha. A $60k plus tuner car with no warranty versus a bonestock GT500. Hum. The Camaro has a 10:1 CR, cast pistons and cast rods. Put 20 psi on it and see how long it lasts. Snap, crackle, pop, a Camaro is puking up parts. The GT500 has 8.5:1 CR, forged pistons/rods/crank. Boost friendly. A GT500 will take 23 psi and ask for more and be reliable. My GT500 with a Kenne Bell Stage 3 will butt rape this Hennessy for a lot less money. The Cmaro is the ugliest turd on the road.

@454lilman A GT500 with a twin screw sech as a Whipple or Kenne Bell lack I have will suck the paint off that Hennessy so fast it will look like a piece of mylar blwoing down the track. Put 20 psi on the Hennessy with them hypereutectic pistons, a 10:1 CR and cast rods and see how long it lasts before it has windows in the block. The GT500 is fully forged and will last for years on 20 pounds of boost.

@deadeyedickification Really? I paid $47k for a brand new 2010 GT500. Added a Kenne Bell Stage 3 for $6k and a $200 JBA o/r x-pipe. Made 690 at the tire SAE for $53k. More than enough to butt hump that Hennessy to death. And mine will last for years huffing on 20 psi. Put 20 psi on that Hennessy with the 10:1 CR and cast pistons/rods and it's be pucking parts all over the track.

Check out the June issue of Hot Rod Magazine with a 2010 Camaro at 700 rwhp that one of thre hypereutetic pistons failed from detonation and the rod punched a hole in the block. ROTFLMAO. Sweet vindification to my posts. The article pretty much said wasn't anything on a Camaro that could take much over 600 at the tire and many in the drive train at 450.

@deadeyedickification It's even worse on most of thse Hennessy Camaros. He's adding a blower to a stock engine. In addition to those cast rods and pistons, it has a 10;1 or more CR. bad for boost. I also thought it ws funny the one thing on the Camaro that could handle anything close to a GT500 was the crank they said could handle 900 at the tire. The GT500 will hadle well over 1000 at the tire. Take a look at June's Hot Rod magazine and get reality and the obvious.

ZL-1 Camaro makes about 575 Horsepower, ZR1 makes 638 Horsepower (Not to mention the 800+ Horses from Hennessy). By the way, How many people can actually OWN a GTX1? But in reality the Camaro is made in the USA, Engine Components are made here, The only thing that isn't made here is the Body and Paneling. Interior is made here also. The Mustang i think is made down in Canada too. Also Mitubishi has probably more money than GM (Even though Mitsubishi makes shit cars according to Car and Driver)

Thats the only thing holding it up. And your to say that GM has Sucky Sound systems? I think my '05 Tahoe has a pretty good sound system considering its a BOSE. And thats all you have to argue over is that the Ford Mustang is made in the USA. Another thing is, i didn't know you would buy a car based on the system.

And if Mitusbishi is so reliable then how come Toyota and Ford still in the top three spots for Best Car Maker (Chevy is #3 last time i checked). Another thing is, You say GM cars aren't reliable, i say they are. I have a '72 Chevrolet Pickup C-10 thats done over 150,000 miles on the orginal motor and tranny (Thats a 350 Small Block and a T-H350). Never had a problem with it. and probably won't ever
