  • Very well done!

  • great work your guitar playing is excellent!!

  • Not bad lad, your timing is a bit off though and maybe a little more effort in pronounciation... it's a story after all. But well done.

  • hi duncan i just want to know if you have the tabs for this song would love to play it

  • That's my first Duncan...I'm going to check out everything now.

    Thank you for the music.

  • amazing job... nice!

  • Nice job man. One of my favourites.

  • Great song, and played (and sung) really well. It's what music should be - something to be enjoyed and shared. Right - I've gotta go and tune a guitar and watch you very carefully now.... Many thanks, and don't stop playing!

  • great !

  • Nice playing!! Must have been quite tricky with the addition of the harmonica!

  • really great. helps me learn it myself. Thanks!

  • This is great.

  • First rate. It's a unique and pure voice you've got.

  • What key is that harmonica in? :) I tried to play this on my G harmonica but couldn't get all the notes! Would appreciate if you told me! :)

  • @Holm182 Yes, it's a G harmonica, and you're right it doesn't have all the notes. You have to bend some of them, which is tricky, but that's what Andy Irvine does, and it gives the harmonica that bluesy character. There are some great instructional videos on bending notes. Good luck with it!

  • What key is that harmonica in? :) And is it a regular one? :D I tried to play this on my G harmonica but I couldn't get it right!!

  • Beautiful! I love this song! Brilliant!

  • your very good and your voice is good.ive liked this song for 30 yearsand its good that the younger generation want to play this classic.I am going to keep watching for your songs on youtube and you might be famous one day.GOOD LUCK

  • Fair play to ya, that's a great job!!! That's the G tuning Brady uses for Arthur McBride, isn't it?

  • @bollix13 Yes, open G tuning: from bass to treble, DGDGBD. I think when Paul Brady sings Mary and the Soldier he puts the capo at the first fret.

  • can you slow it down and show us the chords. Beautiful rendition of this piece.

  • Wow, that's really hard, great job!

  • good job!
