I'd like to see you make stave a snare drum out of some rosewood or ebony, I have some pieces they're really thin though, all your drums are super beefy. I need to figure out a formula to cut the pieces to the correct angle for 14x4.
hey i build stave drums by hand and to carve out the inside, i use a gouge, but your way, using a and planer, looks ALOT easier. may i ask what kind of a hand planer that is?? does it have a curved blade??
