The first duty of Sheriffs...... is to protect the system that steals everyone's money, livelihood, homes, and even sex on occasion... When they figure that out, then they will begin to protect real people, and not the extortionists.
I have read that some Sheriff's are weak/intimidated by other LE agencies. I guess some get into bed with Fed funding, don't know their powers etc. It takes some backbone to stand tall when jack-booted-thugs throw their weight around, as the Sheriff is usually out numbered and then the incident becomes a history lesson in the court system. Bravo Sheriffs! Keep up the people's work.
Second ONLY to the Sheriff, in places where they exist, Constables are also very powerful, elected Law Enforcement officer, In Kentucky we have elected Constables in each county. These have nearly as much authority as the Sheriff, though most don't know or recognise this.
It is true. Only the sheriff is elected by the people and stands the best chance of helping this country. He has a lot of power and people need to know that next time they look at who is running for Sheriff. Local city police chiefs are APPOINTED by the wealthy in the community and don't forget.....the Anti-Defamation League is retraining the city police.
I feel when those who have the power don't buckle under pressure, we will establish the rights given to us by the Constitution and the freedoms GOD gave us as HIS creation. We need to stand together and respect others as we want to be respected.
