i personally cook ramen in a bowl with cold water in a microwave, let it cook for about 2-5 mins depending on your microwave, once the waters kinda steaming take it out and add the flavor packets and stir. I add more things for flavor, like a little bit of seasoning salt and crushed red peppors and sometimes a tiny dash of steak seasoning as well. This is way its nice and spicy with a little bit of salt in it.

@CriticalMoose msg is not bad for you. theres not ONE human study that shows its bad for you. theres only studies in mice, and they fed them HUGE HUGE amounts of msg, you would have to eat pounds and pounds of it to equal the doses, and not only that, they did real human studies, and showed it didnt even have the same effect even at high doses. your body makes natural glutamates every day which msg is treated the same as. msg is found naturally in everything from mushrooms to chicken.

Lol Ramen is more of a soup dish rather than pasta perse.

You're supposed to leave the water in and mix the seasoning when you're boiling it, I prefer after it's down boiling.

You can also crack in a couple of eggs and some pork too.
