GOD bless Cindy and Larry Jones. It was touching the emotion you showed at this years Derby in remembrance of the gorgeous, loyal unforgettable Eight Belles. Its moving to see owners do love their horse. Please let her win and passing be a reminder of something that needs to be done, and that is we owe these gorgeous creatures our help and our protection, and for us to speak out against the horror of horse slaughter.

For each horse that wins the Kentucky Derby there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of horses (many race horses) that go to slaughter in Juarez. Mexico Some of these horses sold for kill are young thouroughbred race horses. This win could increase breeding, which is the root of the problem. Please help, there is a flip side to this story.
