@Andulicek18 A little over 4 years. In the UK, they have problems getting emin's pouched rats to live past 2-3 years... His sister died not long after he did.
Poor Matisse! I already love him when watching your videos. I know you suffered a lot when he passed away. I felt very saddened when my beloved cat died, just a year ago.
@abcasd1 yeah, there's one thing about pouched rats. They're constantly on the move and do NOT like being tied down for anything. They're not like domestic rats at all
@pouchedrattie I don't like rats but mattise looks too pretty and inteligent. It looks like a 1 in a million rat. How did u trained it to go to the bathroom?
hey i had a rat too but i was forced to give it to my friend due to a move and me getting sick mine was 6 months and it was not that big !!!! how old was yours? and how did you toilet train him ????
That's strange because we had a pet rat, just a normal one who was like a baby and sadly he also died a week or two after we moved. Yours seems a lovely pet i would like to get one but I have too many dogs to get a big pouched 1 maybe in about 10 years
My pet rat, of course, not big as this, would come to me when i would call. him. I would put him in the ball and pop my leg, and say come here dee, come here. and as he was rolling by, he would stop and spin around my way and come right to my leg. He done that everytime i would call.
My rat died about a month or so ago as it had a tumour i think thats how u spell it but her sister is still with me but is getting a tumour but she will be fine until we put her down at vets
I am sorry for your love loss. What happen? I understand you are breakheart and missed him. I have lost my rat last few days ago.... Give you big Hugs
So they were made legal again? At least that gives you a chance to find a new one, I've been wanting one for a while and I'm a little relieved they were made legal again.
He is a beautiful boy. I'm very sorry for your loss. I've really enjoyed his videos. :( I hope you're able to give a pouched ratty a new home very soon!
Can you please tell me, how old was he? Because their lifespan is around 7 years.
