Wasn't so common two years back. I remember cnc 3 being popular back then. Try comparing those graphics to WIC's. WIC may be the first RTT (or RTS) game to use DX10 technology.

Well the Russians initiated the war in the first place in the storyline, and your playing from the perspective of the Americans. I'm sure this game isn't finished with not only the NATO/US campaign, but they can also do a Russian campaign.
